Been trying to reach these people buy phones to change address but I keep getting cut off or have to wait for 2 hours. Tried the recall option but nope.

My experience was pretty decent. No long lines or difficulty obtaining the help.

Went in to make a change of address. There was only 2 people ahead of me and they were called right away, so I was next! So was thinking wow, this shouldn't take long at all! Boy was I wrong.....waited for 55 minutes and still no one 😒 called my name or number. And I couldn't wait because my ride had to be elsewhere. So now I have to go back again. Oh well, better days are coming

Adding to my initial answer- u just have to look at it like a blessing to even receive any kind of help at all. Just screw the phone calls & show up in person. U are waay more likely to get what u need sooner.
Just figured it out- dhs in Bangor just moved to the former Bangor savings bank on the corner of hammond st & maine ave across from the airport.
Staffing
Call the caseworker , pretty simple :-)
I have an appointment at 3 if you havnt found it by then Ill ask the front desk
I would ask the dhhs that question
Department of human services oversees resources for people in need of assistance with daily living. You may call their local number and ask about audiologist. I believe they can direct you to a referral but in most cases your primary doctor would do that.
Call them and ask.

They might as well not have phones, just show up as soon as they open their doors
You can just go n apply plus get seen same day
Call them
Go into the office with pay stubs and put them in the designated envelopes with your name and case number and hand them in.
I heard if u write down everything you lost and turn it in to DHS they will reimburse up to 400. Haven't tried it myself yet but thats what i was told.
