It's certainly an interesting building and the park is beautiful. On display is a handful of art pieces. These range from "I think that's literally a piece of garbage that was supposed to be thrown away by the janitor" to, fairly interesting. As a tax paying Berkeley resident, I can't help but think how much $$$$$$$ it's taking to prop this place up - a place with little traffic, only a dozen or so pieces of art, and constant staffing. Sigh..

Nice gallery located in a residential setting. They appear to be interested in featuring Bay Area and socially relevant art. Nice. Only problem is parking can be difficult at times.

No, we do not.
Hi Heidy, We are more of a nonprofit exhibition space. Though works in our shows are for sale, prices are in line with our artists' sales records and years of experience and can range from $2,000–$20,000. We do not maintain an inventory of works, so pieces are available while exhibitions are on view and then are returned to the artists. Thanks, Berkeley Art Center
Yes, you do have to sign up in advance. I recommend calling/emailing them directly for details. They are a friendly and helpful staff.
