Great location by many shops and the port, short walk to Duck Fat & Eventide Oyster Co. Had a room with balcony, which was nice with the cool weather, can see a narrow sliver of the port to the left. Room was large and comfortable. Bathroom ceiling is short, might be a very tight fit for anyone for 6'6". Good coffee in the morning, and very friendly staff. Parking is extra.

Absolutely amazing experience. The staff at the front desk, room service and valet were very friendly. Parking on street is not really an option but valet was great. The room was nice. Bed was comfortable, balcony was nice, had a nice couch in the room too. The spa is AMAZING. Highlight of the trip. The massages were great, and they have steam, sauna and jacuzzi which is amazing and super relaxing. The food from room service was delicious. My only complaints are that they didnt have a microwave in the room. And that the thermostat stayed at 67 all weekend even when we blasted the heat up to 80 because we were cold. It didnt ruin the experience but it would have been nice to have a working thermostat after paying what we did. I would definitely come back and stay here again.

Disappointed in myself for choosing this place and being stuck with it, to be honest. Pet friendly room is banished to essentially a basement corner off of the spa (with an added $75 mandatory cleaning fee). I’m watching people walk on the street about 3-4 feet above where the bed is, the windows aren’t tinted, and there are only two. The sound of loud, whirring instruments permeates the room every 30 seconds and I can clearly hear conversations both outside and in an adjacent room. I just got up to answer a knock on the door that wasn’t my door, thank you paper thin walls. The ice machine is on the third floor. No mini fridge. No full length mirror. Sad old decor. Don’t do it. Updated at 4:30am on night of stay - the snow plow trucks just started beeping excessively right outside the window! This is officially the worst!!!

Perfect location in Portland. Unique. The Valet and front desk service was excellent; well above average and did not seem to expect anything in return. Very nice. Gym is very nice.. only gripe is that they don't open until 8am be sure it's part of their Spa area even though it's free. Also, although I'm not a Spa person, it didn't seem that nice for a Spa. Maybe because the night before after they closed.. at 6:10pm, we showed up to check out the gym (unknowing that they were closed) and the lady was kind of sharp with us not allowing us to peak in to see the gym. Restaurant breakfast was very good. Coffee is excellent too. Service was exceptional. The lounge had a nice, warm gas fireplace that we enjoyed sitting at and eating a lobster roll takeout with chowder. Overall a 5 star review is deserved considering what looks to be the alternatives locally. I'd probably go back here due to the excellent location and front desk/valay/restaurant service.
