This is the "new" Market Basket. It is much larger than the one on the north side of town. It has a cafe that offers great pre-made & made to order sandwiches as well as a good assortment of prepared meals to take home. There is a larger deli & expanded butcher case that offers specialty meats & dinners ( such as pre-stuffed pork chops, marinated meat, etc ) The selection of products is larger because the store is bigger. And true to Market Basket practice, they almost always have plenty of cashier's & baggers scheduled. ❤️

Love the breakfast sandwiches, the customer service is excellent with well dressed and well groomed employees who are really friendly. the store is clean and tidy very well organized. My only complaint is I want all the pastries in the bakery. Soo good but Soo bad for my waistband.

While Market Basket is a very good chain of grocery stores, the Somersworth store is not as well managed as others in the area. Over the last year I've noticed that items go out of stock for prolonged periods of time whereas all the other Market Basket's have them in stock. In addition vegetables seem to be left "on the shelf" longer causing them to spoil sooner. Hopefully Market Basket management figures this problem out and fixes it rather than let the store run into ruin to the point where it's not profitable and has to be closed.

A cross between Seabrook and Bedford Market Baskets. This store has a Kitchen, Bakery 🧁, Cafe and dining area.A section up front is dedicated to cancer sticks, err, 🚬 cigarettes. Very busy inside! Parking 🅿️ lot isn't crazy like Nashua or set up strangely like Seabrook. RedBOX BOX available. I was concerned about how the staff would treat my son and I because of the Google Maps reviews that I perused, but, the cashier was very friendly while the woman at the kitchen was unpleasant. What I liked the most was that they have windows in the produce area which helps make this section of the store not feel so enclosed. Bedford has windows as well. If my family and I are in the area and we want pizza 🍕 and 🍦 ice-cream, we will stop by!
