I called on Saturday morning to see if the lab request from my doctor was there, whoever answered the the phone was pretty rude, after a while she told me they were not there. I called Martin’s Point and they said they would fax the result right over. I waited 30 minutes and called Gorham quick care again. As soon as I asked she immediately said “we haven’t received any faxes today” that was it, never bothered to check, obviously just didn’t want to deal with it.

The doctor who handled my walk in chest pain was very ageist. “A heart attack isn’t likely for someone so young” “even though you’ve been having chest pain since you were 12 it’s unlikely something went undiagnosed bc of your age” “it’s probably just anxiety.” This doctors name started with a D I think but not sure. I literally had a friend who was 21 who died of a heart attack. If I had admitted to having anxiety he would have not referred me to the ER and they would not have found out that I have a few small blood clots in my lungs.

While the staff i spoke to in person was very friendly the staff member i spoke with on the phone gave me 100% wrong information causing me to drive another 30 mins just to get the same test they told me would not work. She did not know which covid test was which. She was friendly but with such an important job she needs to stay up to date with all new information.

Have had difficulties with doctors here and disrespect. Recently tried to get my prescriptions filled and was yelled at over the phone told that I can go get them any time as they sent in an order to hold me over for a year a few months ago. Which was interesting since at this point I had called all of the pharmacy’s I have used over the past few years and none of them had any orders for me. Cut to a voicemail telling me my scripts would be ready for me in my hometown… an hour away… which I haven’t used in years save for once or twice over the summers. I am going through withdrawal which is causing neurological effects. There was no attempt to try to figure out what happened or give me the benefit of the doubt that I actually had called around. In short. If things go wrong (in this case I found out a script had been sent in august but was cancelled by the office) they will not work with you to try to figure it out. They will instead blame you and ignore your needs. They may even drive you to tears as they did me. And they won’t care. Not the first time I’ve felt disrespected by the doctors here. And I will be looking for a new office.
