Was blamed for their credit card machine not working and the lady whom was trying to get the machine to work was visibly frustrated. I just wanted some chocolate man spending 50$ for chocolate is alot but hay vacation. Anyway after she decided to blame my card for the issue i told her that probably wasnt the case but i understand. And im a manager too and i would appreciate if she would be candid with me. I was not appreciative of what came next. A barrage of yelling and told to leave the shop. After asking her why she immeditely started acting that way, she got louder. I grabbed my chocolate and left. Honestly been shopping at the harbor candy shop for 20 years it is a staple in my family to go every visit to ogunquit. But apparantly im not welcome in their shop anymore. So i guess the harbor candy shop is crossed off the list along with that shop that makes bags out of sales. That lady is snooty 🤷‍♀️

Each year, we order chocolates to be sent to customers through out the country and always choose a Maine company. I live in Portland and go to Ogunquit a couple of times a summer, so decided to have Harbor Candies send 2 pound boxes. I have gotten rave reviews and praise on the how wonderful the chocolates are and the beautiful presentation. One customer said that "every piece in the whole box was absolutely amazing". Thank you Harbor Candy!

I always love to pop into this store when visiting in Ogunquit. The store always smells divine, it’s clean, and the service is impeccable. The reason for my review today was I was feeling nostalgic and wanted to order some assorted chocolate holiday favors to give out to friends and family. I of course had to take advantage of placing an order and included some of my favorite items to share with our thanksgiving guests - Pecan rolls and Caramallows. My order showed up at my house in NY in record time, carefully wrapped to prevent damage in shipping, and in beautiful holiday packaging. The value you are getting not just in the candy quality, but level of care that went into all forms of packaging (shipping and presentation) is second to none. Everything tastes so fresh and rich, highly recommend. We have many “gourmet” local candy and chocolate shops in my hometown, but I’d order from Harbor Candy shop and pay the additional shipping because it’s worth it.

Just a Countertenor

A huge variety of delicious candy and fudge! I was told that everything except the bars with pretzels is gluten free. The service was quick and they had many varieties in stock. Here is a picture of some of the things we bought.
