Update* I've lived in this community going on 3 years and don't have any complaints. The small community is like a second family, Beverly the property manager has been a joy to have here she's been very helpful to myself and family. Quick respond maintenance and very well landscape upkeep.

Bradford Commons has been my home since 2013. It's a pleasant community - older, but well maintained. The neighborhood is safe and quiet with wonderful, friendly people. Beverly, the property manager is really helpful and easy to work with. Dog friendly community with a private dog park!

Bradford Commons is a nice starter apartment to call home. Affordable. Pretty quiet area, friendly neighbors. Property is very old with a great historic feel. The landscape is nice and clean - lots of trees, shrubs, and grass. The property manager, Beverly, is awesome. Pleasant woman, very personable! Living at Bradford Commons was a nice experience. Minutes away from Plaza Midwood which was so convenient for me. Uptown is not far at all either. This property in a great location with tons of eateries, pharmacies, stores, supermarkets, gyms right along Central Ave. My only complaint is the trees! The trees on the property seems to be aged, so the probability of a whole tree or branch falling (especially during a storm) is likely! Nonetheless, take a chance and schedule a tour to see what Bradford Commons has to offer you. - Bre

You Get What You Pay For If you're looking for a place to live that is VERY reasonably priced for the space, this is a good choice. The neighborhood is really quiet, and the people are friendly. I like that it's a multicultural neighborhood. Lots of the tenants have been living there for a long time and are older which is why it's so quiet. However, the apartments have some age on them, and it shows. Management has done their best to try to update the place, but it's obvious that they were built in the 60's. The plumbing leaves a lot to be desired -- low water pressure and a hot shower lasts about 10 minutes max. They try really hard to keep out pests, but roaches have been an ongoing issue. Finally, management can be downright condescending. Expect many nasty grams and very little notice when someone is going to enter your apartment... but you get what you pay for. The price to space ratio isn't bad. If you don't mind a blast from the past with the occasional six-legged visitor, go for it. You honestly can't beat the price. Think New York Brownstone...
