Stopped for gas. They had plenty of food and snacks. Reasonably priced items there. Plenty of parking for cars and trucks, or rv's. Gas was reasonable here.

Most of what's said about the place is true, however it's better than nothing if you need a spot to stop. Just remember it's usually a full lot after 7pm. And the restaurant is closed early 7pm-8pm. Too bad! The food is usually good, more home made like! Not the standard same old same, you get from other chains. In 25 years of stopping, the parking lot has always been bad, some stops it's, better, and some stops worse. And yes the bathroom have seen better days, that was true even 20 years ago. It is what it is, chain franchise, whose building has seen betterdays, but keeps going.

This is an older Flying J, therefore you can't expect a large modern facility. It only has four diesel pumps and the dirt lot needs repair but it's free parking. I arrived late in the afternoon and there was still plenty of room when all other truck stops west on I-90 were packed full. The store has a good selection of truck items and nick-nacks with a hot food box at the cash register counter. When I first entered the restaurant I wasn't expecting much in the way of good food because, as I said, this is an older place and somewhat worn. But was I ever surprised! They had a large selection of food on the menu and the spaghetti and meatballs that I ordered was delicious. The restaurant is clean and the waitress and cook were very attentive and friendly. If you want a quiet place to park, good food and decent prices this Flying J is the place. I'm definitely coming back.
