Yes. They haven't proven how long the antibodies last. So it could be possible. Only future research will tell us for sure.

There are no state mandates for mitigation. You can check with the tenants union. Of course it's in the landlords best interest to fix the problem as it wil grow into sheetrock and is expensive to fix. Straight white vinegar works better than bleach to kill it...changes the ph so it will not grow back...even works on decks outside.
