This place used to be great for kids. Pre-pandemic our kids used to go there virtually every day. But unfortunately COVID hit this part of San Francisco pretty hard and places like the CCM have not recovered. Exhibits are pretty simple and boring, there's almost no staff around and the staff isn't as caring as they used to be. And prices are way up. $80 for a family of four is not worth it given the exhibits they have now. I'm sorry but it's sad what it has become.

Great place with innovative design. It also has a great playground nearby. My son enjoyed it so much!

Not for children under 3 or 4 in my opinion. Some of the stationed were closed when I went. There are place to eat near by and a good way to spend about 1 or 2 hrs with kids above 4. There are arts and craft stations, an audio and digital media area for those into creating videos and soundtracks.

We are big fans of the sf creativity museum. What's great about this museum is that there are many things for my kids to do, ages 4 7 and 10. Usually it's either too old or too young. They love the claymation movie studio, the arts and crafts, puppet show theater area, the karaoke room, the robot coding room and the "mystery box" room. My son also loves the 3d room where you color in various vehicles or buildings and watch them come to life. There's also a nice playground outside. Plan on spending hours there!

Hi Reighan, we do not have glitter in our spaces. We do offer a sensory table with small colored pebbles for toddlers to explore. We also offer a creative art space for visitors to draw, color, and write on our first floor. We look forward to seeing you soon!
Not close by , but a commercial parking available close to Bloomingdale's about a block or two away.
Nowhere I noticed when there in April 2019. But there is an area where you can sit and have some of you own food. Otherwise it is quite close to town where there is a choice of places to eat.
Yes, staff is great they'll figure it out
you can go your library, they have some program offering certain duscount
Yes. You can buy them online through the Bay Area Children's Theater website.
It looks like there may be when they are done with renovations, but for now it's street or lots, both of which are plentiful nearby.
