Despite the charming, small town vibes at Kurata, the fish selection is limited, common items like ikura are often unavailable, and our dishes were uninspired (one of the rolls had plastic wrap leftover). We were the only ones in the restaurant at this time, yet we had to repeatedly request attention from the hostess for water, tea, and other small requests.

The best sushi in the area, service is polite and courteous without being overbearing. Really good selection, done well. Very cozy location without a lot of seating, which usually means a nice relaxing atmosphere

I'd guess most of their dishes are gluten-free except - obviously - those with wheat noodles. Rice and fish based cuisine. There may be a smallest trace of gluten in the soy sauce if they use one with wheat in it. A good restaurant. I hope they work out for you.
No. There are no child chairs. Also the isles are too narrow and no room for a stroller, we had to leave ours outside.
