Chocolate. I love chocolate, so they get 3 stars for fulfilling that niche. The quality of the chocolate is about what you’d expect for corporate (50s era) chocolate. OK. But, as a corporate chocolate store, the 50s era costumes are kitschy at best. Antiquated really. The world of chocolatier arts has grown exponentially in recent history (past 20 years). It’s time to ditch the 50s and come into the 21st century.

I have fond memories from childhood of going to Sees in Portland Maine with my grandmother when I spent summers with her. The checkers floor,the delectable smell of the chocolate and the white uniforms, left a wonderful impression . Now, in Portland Oregon, I enjoy the sweets at holidays. Shannon and Heidi made my visit extra special. They are professional and sure know the chocolates! They told me this was the 100 anniversary and showed me the 'retro" wrap, so cool! Wonderful store with wonderful employees! Thank you

Walking into a See's Candies is a nostalgic and visually satisfying experience. Then comes the fun of picking out your sweet from a varied selection sure to please everyone. I was sad to find this location out of milk bordeaux but that's not uncommon, it's easy to find something else delicious! Found this location to have a friendly, helpful staff and the clean, pure uniformity you expect from See's.
