Over a decade living in the Shoug and I’ve been to nearly every vet clinic in the area. Was really happy with a place in Camas until the vet moved. After months of “trying” out many places for the care of my service animal, I was fortunate enough to end up with this clinic after they altered some barn cats for me. What first brought me to them was their very reasonable spay/neuter rates for some barn cats on my old property (years ago). Others out there will gouge the heck out of you and try to upsell you on everything… Not this place! Never pressured into any service or product that was unnecessary. Always felt like the Dr. was patient and not rushed to get rid of us. Long story short, we’ve been with this place for several years now and it’s these fine folks that are helping me manage my service animal’s end of life care… I’ll be sad as hell when it’s time to say goodbye to my dog. But it’s great knowing he’s so well cared for by these folks. They all love Charlie, and he loves them. It’s a great relationship. I’m sad that it will be ending sooner rather than later. BTW- they love all breeds here. Even my big ol’ “vicious” pibble… If you’ve dealt with other clinics who are anti-pibble, maybe give these folks a try. I’d like to say you’ll see me after with another animal, but there’s just no replacing Charles S. Bronson and I don’t think I’ll even try. But I’ll continue to profess my admiration for this clinic!

I can't express my gratitude enough for CWAH!!! My 1.5 year old cat ate a Nerf bullet and the rubber tip got lodged in his intestines, requiring surgery. Sadly, this same thing happened 3 months ago. He some how found another and it too got stuck. Having just recoved from that insanely larger emergency bill, we were now faced with a $4k-6k quote from the emergency vet. There was no way I could make that happen. I called CWAH and Reece the office manager moved mountains to make sure they could get my cat in the next morning! Not only was he incredibly understanding, the final bill was under $1k!!!! I am beyond grateful for Dr. Townsend , Reece and the entire staff ate Camas washougal animal hospital! I am blown away not only by the care, but their compassion and reasonable pricing! Thank you for saving my baby!!

I have been taking my animals to this vet for 25 years. The last time I went there was the last time I will ever go back. The service has been going downhill for some time and has come to the point where they do not care about your pets, only your money. They were “booked up” and turned my baby away knowing he would die without immediate attention. The receptionist, bless her heart, recognized the urgency and attempted to get the doctors to help him but they refused. I would not take a cockroach there.

My grandmas been taking her pets their for over 20 years. They're the best animal hospital ever, best in the nation/Camas/Vancouver/USA. Very good prices, very good staff. My 16 year old dachshund had 13 teeth pulled, and he has heart problems too. They're the only veterinary clinic that I trust with my senior puppers. I told my dad to take his new baby kitten, who's a maincoon their to get neutered. No problems with it at all. And they're always amazing with payments, they are wonderful. I cant tell you how much they've helped me and my pets. I would trust no other clinic. I trust them with my life. They're a very kind staff and very animal loving.

Yes, they have spayed 2 of our Miniature and Toy Australian Shepherds. They will also be spaying our new Toy Australian Shepherd this coming May. We have been going here since 2005 and love the staff. They take incredible care of our girls just like they are family! Love this place! ❤️😊
The do have a board in waiting area to hang animals looking for love/ rehome or babies in need of loving homes. Dogs cats and fur babies. Just never know what's hung on the board mostly cats and dogs.
They do not do payment plans. They do however, take Carecredit, which would allow.you to make payments, but you have to apply for it online.
Just had my 80 lb male golden neutered a couple weeks ago. Was abt $120ish. No food/water after 10pm night prior; dropped off at 8am; was called for pick up at 2:30 that same afternoon. Sent home with a cone. They took very good care of him and we had zero issues, other than the drowsiness from the surgery for abt 36 hrs.
Hare to just me on this but trifexis (sp?) is the stuff. The other flea meds like Advantage(sp?) seems to have become ineffective the last couple of years.
