I live in the Eugene area and Thank God for this wonderful Vet Hospital that was more than willing to see my most loyal friend on a Saturday, they are located in Corvallis but not one in our town or surrounding areas could squeeze my girl in. They were up front and honest that Id be waiting a very long time before seen but in semi emergency its first come first serve basis and I respected their honesty and that they kept me in the loop as time wise once I checked in via my vehicle, I know they had many life/death emergencies as I had just checked in, and that was comforting to know they'd of seen my dog if life or death too. They were outstanding in every aspect of service and care! They didnt find reasons to do needless COSTLY tests as Ive had happen at an Emergency Vet clinic in Springfield. An unplanned vet bill is never planned and for most a debt that hangs on for too long but at his Hospital I can say honestly that they did not take advantage of a dog mom in panic and fear of unknown. Id waited 3 hours before seeing the Dr, but I felt safe being in the parking lot if matters worsened and they had a sweet young front staff that made me feel they cared as well as the Dr. 10 STARS IF IT POSSIBLE

No emergency services. We took our dog here for years. We needed emergency services several times in the past (weekends and evenings) and never had a problem being seen, but things must have changed after the pandemic? I'm not sure if they're short staffed, but they're certainly unavailable. Our dog was lethargic on Tuesday and not feeling well. Of course, animals get sick, so we waited to see if things would improve on their own (as they often have in the past). By that night, her symptoms (not eating, panting, weakness) were getting worse. Around 10:00pm, we called Willamette, but there was no answer, so we left a voicemail hoping to bring her in, but we got no response. By midnight the symptoms were worse yet, and we called once more. There was no answer, so we left another urgent voicemail (we also called other vets in the area without success, since so many rely on Willamette for after-hours support). So, what do you do? In our case, we got to watch our dog slowly die in front of us. A few hours later she passed away in our arms. The hard part is not knowing if there was anything we could have done to save her. We have no idea why she died or if we could have helped in any way. To add insult to injury, Willamette never called back after those two voicemails: not that night, not the next day, not the day after that. We just never heard from them. I think it's safe to say that if you think you might ever need emergency services for your pet, you'd be wise to look for a different veterinarian, even if that means picking an office in Salem or Eugene. We're still heartbroken and confused over the sudden loss of our sweet girl.

The Willamette Veterinary Hospital is place with very accessible doctors and staff. They never make you feel like you are bothering them if you call for an update or if you need advice. They do not over-promise yet they are very capable. Highly recommended if you have a pet emergency.

I live at the coast and have made many emergency trips to this hospital with dogs in trouble. Our local vets couldn't handle the particular issue. We have always been able to get in ASAP as soon as we could get there and they have saved more than one of my dogs over the years. I highly respect and rate them 100% in their expertise and efficiency. I have also gone for just regular care like spay/neuter and they've always been fantastic and professional.

We have an older female Umbrella Cockatoo that has been getting hormone injections - for an over active female hormone, from Dr. M. Litner (Avian Medical in Lake Oswego). Is it possible to get this hormone treatment & health check-ups from you?

Thank you for contacting us! Your bird sounds beautiful and we'd love to see her. Dr. Lewer would need a chance to review the medical records and treatment plan to be sure we could make all the necessary arrangements. Please contact our office @ 541-753-2223 at your earliest convenience so that we can arrange for records to be sent over for review. We can't wait to meet you!

Thank you for thinking of Willamette Veterinary Hospital, Marnita! Laser Therapy is definitely a good treatment option for disc disease. We'd love to see your boy and provide this service. We would suggest scheduling an exam, where our doctor can discuss your pets specific needs with you. The doctor will also review records and treatment plans from Oregon City. This way, your doxi can get the best consistent care possible. It's only $69 to schedule an exam and we offer a discount for long term laser therapy, with a buy 6 get one free package. You can reach us at 541-753-2223. Can't wait to see you and your boy!
