Beautiful beach, easy parking just don't be a jerk or the locals will check you.

Great hike with lots of trails all over. The views are breathtaking of the whole ocean, Malibu and Los Angeles areas. Moderate hike depending on how far you go and what trails you choose. We started at the Los Leones trail head. It is very busy on the weekends. Hiking boots are not needed, it's a gradual climb with many switch backs. No bathrooms close by and parking can be hard to find on busy days. Trails are narrow at the beginning of the first mile, but it gets wider as you get to the top and then you can hike further up on a wider trail/road. There are lots of lookout points and one park bench at the first upper stopping point. Watch for snakes on hot days. Bring plenty of water and sun protection if you are worried about heat as there isn't shade. There's so much to explore and many different starting points so plan and prepare and have fun.

Very nice park with a lot of rolling mountains. Great view of the Pacific ocean.

Great hiking area. I came to check out the trail after the fires. Looked pretty apocalyptic until I found the little plants and trees growing amongst the ash. Great hike. Wear a hat as most of the shade has been burnt away.

Yes. Check state parks and malibu rv park.
Sadly, no. Pretty lame. There are fewer and fewer scenic wilderness areas where you can hike with your dog without being ticketed. The CA state park system is extremely dog unfriendly, and increasingly so.
Topanga is an little weird in that the area you park in and some of the initial trail is not actually in the state park. The part from the parking lot back to Sunset and the lower paved area that goes through the bungalows is not part of the state park and you can have your dogs there.
Yes, in most areas dogs on leash are allowed. But, check for signs that'll say "no dogs" bc those areas protect wildlife.
I don't think you can camp but I can ask
It depends, there are several trails. The one I pictured is only a couple miles total. You can hike 6 to the Palisades, if you like.
Not sure about the hours but we ended up parking on the side of the road leading up to it anyway. Was a short hike in and there were no issues from the neighbors.
No, you cannot. There is a campground up trail slightly. However driving and parking a camper van in this area can be near impossible. Don't listen to Danlucas Garstrada I live next door to the park, this is not allowed.
Yes they do have Trails for mountain biking, hiking, walking, you can either start from St Vincent's La 96 missile silo 2 Reseda Reseda to Eagle Rock Topanga Canyon that's a pretty good ride or you can stay to the left take Temescal from Hub Junction go nine tenths of a mile to the left backbone backbone to Will Rogers 47 miles of trails for hiking biking walking have a good time take plenty of water1
Make sure the app takes into account newer rules on flying drones.
