Absolutely amazing park! There is the lodge, a huge, beautifully built historic landmark as the main attraction. There is also a giant playground for the kids plus trails for hiking for people of all ages!

Fun light trail that leads down to a gorgeous view of the lake! Beginner, kid, and pet friendly. Plus, there’s always a chance of a deer spotting in the park. Double plus, there’s a gorgeous venue in the center of the park that serves delicious cold beers for the end of your journey.

A state park within the city limits, with couple of moderately intensive but short trails that has access to shores of Lake Washington. Good for spending a nice afternoon walking around..this park also has a big playground for children. Discover pass required..

Saint Edward State Park has always been a favorite for our family starting with the awesome playground that looks like a medieval castle with labyrinth and towers to the Groto and the several trails from easy to moderate and difficult. Limited bike access and pets on a leash. We mostly like to stroll down the easiest trail (stroller friendly) and get to the shores of Lake Washington for a fun time with the kids splashing in the water. There's a couple of vaulted toilet by the beach but no potable water. There used to be a Seminary at the entrance and since we hadn't been in while we just noticed the turned it into a Loch with nice patio area and a restaurant and valet service. Maybe will check it out on a different time. Anyway, keep in mine this is a state park and you'll need a Discovery pass or buy a day pass at the parking lot.

Not necessarily. If you don't have the pass, you can pay for one day parking for $10. The Discover Pass is $30 and good for one year at any WA state Park so it's recommended you get the pass. Otherwise you'll pay for a day-use parking fee.
Billion of them. Just park near the QFC, cross the road and hit the trails on your left and/or right. If you take the left, you have 3 sections that are divided by roads. Taking the right one, there are the one you're on and one more. Cal always open the evergreen mtb website to look for more tips. Enjoy your ride.
Yes, there are paved pathways from the parking lots to trails and the playground.
Check https://parks.state.wa.us/577/Saint-Edwards for camping, not sure about designated camping spots there. otherwise RV parks in Kenmore are all mobile home parks. Hope that helps.
Loads of parking. It's a state park - you need either Discover Pass or $10 fee.
I am not sure? Super good question(s). Just do it!!! Have fun
As of Sunday they weren't bad at all. There was maybe 3 spots in the 6ish miles we hiked.
Currently there is construction going on at the seminary until 2020.
There are a lot of trailheads. There is a sign straight back from behind the old dorm that marks them all
No
The Bastyr Chapel is in a different area of the park; this venue used to be dormitories for the seminarians along with some of their classrooms, cafeteria, and barber shop.
