Great place for your Chiropractor needs! They accept Kaiser Medical insurance which was the original reason why we tried them out.

I do not recommend NW Family Chiropractic. We are new to the area and I use google reviews to help me find doctors and other services. As I am sure others will be using the reviews I will leave one as well. When I went in for treatment the adjustments were very rough, especially the neck and ankle adjustments. One of my ankles popped back out of place within a few hours of being adjusted with a loud crack. The injury I was actually being seen for was to my left knee. At the time of my appointment I could barely climb the stairs to our apartment. An activator was used on my knee as I specifically requested he be more gentle with my knee due to concerns that the wrong chiropractic treatment would leave me more injured. I am very grateful I did not allow him to yank on my leg in an effort to align my knee after seeing the results to his aligning my ankle. I left NW Family Chiropractic in the same amount of pain I entered with and was still only able to climb the stairs to our apartment with difficulty. I did more research and found an excellent chiropractor at Embrace Wellness where I went a few days later. I could barely take the small steps going into Embrace Wellness but left walking normally and easily able to navigate our apartment stairs. The other issue with NW Family Chiropractic is the billing. They sent me a bill for $155. I called my insurance company and they advised NW Family Chiropractic is in their network and should have billed them directly. The chiropractic office never contacted them or submitted a bill. My insurance carrier advised the chiropractic office would have to rebill the insurance company and I would owe only the copay. At the time of my appointment NW Family Chiropractic assured me they would bill my insurance carrier. I provided my insurance card to NW Family Chiropractic at the time of my appointment and they made a copy. I have been to a number of chiropractors over the years. This is the worst one I have been too. Hopefully they will read this review and amend some of these practices as I am sure they would like to provide a better service to the public.

Dr Ambrose and staff are super friendly and helpful. You're in and out in a timely fashion with hardly any waiting. Having always gone with Palmer Doctors i was glad i found this office. Highly suggest them!

I had a low grade headache that was with me for several days. Had been in to see Dr. Andrew Isaksen before for back issues and while close by popped in to see if he could help me find some relief. He was out of the office but reception got me right in to see Dr. Ambrose and wouldn't ya know my headache has fled for the hills. I have referred several people to NW Family Chiropractic over the years and have always been able to trust them for a good, professional experience.

How much does it cost for a single physical?

Conner Goddard | Aug 20, 2019
NW Family Chiropractic | Aug 20, 2019

Hi Conner, The cost of a physical varies based on what we're doing. A sports physical is $45 but a chiropractic examination is $80. If it's a chiropractic exam and there are red flags from the examination that indicate the need for X-Rays, the cost of X-Rays would be in addition to the cost of the exam. Kate is in the right neighborhood with $180 being the approximate cost with X-Rays included. Is there anything else I can help you with?
