March 6, 2021 - FURTHER UPDATE TO MY POSTINGS of Feb 20 and Mar 3 FURTHER BELOW: Enterprise Rent-A-Car keeps posting back here asking me to get in touch with them to fix this. I have gotten in touch with Enterprise Rent-A-Car, several times, by phone/email/chat and every time the same thing: delay tactics, not responding, not accepting responsibility for the problem, not offering even a token offer to compensate for my ruined plans with my kids. So, I bet they will again post the same thing right after this comment of mine, asking for me to get in touch, and each time they will do the same thing wasting my time and doing nothing. Talk is cheap, and that's what Enterprise Rent-A-Car is doing here. AVOID ENTERPRISE. Try the local West LA rental company instead: Midway car rentals. Ask for Joey, the manager. Better prices, much better service, and no excuses - you will get the car you reserved. UPDATE TO MY POSTING FURTHER BELOW: I followed-up with Enterprise by email SEVERAL times and each time I was told someone will call me. Finally, I got a call from "Eric" March 3 who said sorry for what happened, we're in the business of renting cars, so hope you will come back again. I explained that I rented with Enterprise for over 10 years, but no offer (even a token offer) to compensate for a ruined weekend with my kid. This company has changed and they just want to rent you whatever they have when they have it, not the car you reserved when you want it. ORIGINAL POSTING OF FEB 20, 2021: Reserved a pick-up truck for Sat Feb 13 weekend. Arrived Sat morning 9AM at the location on 10799 Santa Monica Blvd Los Angeles, CA, US, 90025. After waiting for a long time for the manager Jason to get to me, I was told the pick-up truck was not available and offered me an SUV (it's bait & switch). I was frustrated as I needed a pick up truck (open bed) for the weekend. My weekend plans with my kids were ruined. As I complained, the manager said we will not rent you ANY car, and refused to honor the reservation at all. I called enterprise and filed a complaint the same day over the phone. They told me I will get a call back during the week. I didn't get a call back and I chat with them today Feb 20, and they were very non-responsive. Enterprise as a company has gone down the tubes. AVOID ENTERPRISE. Try the local West LA rental company instead: Midway car rentals. Ask for Joey, the manager. Better prices, much better service, and no excuses - you will get the car you reserved.

I usually never write reviews, but I had to after having hands down the best customer service from Nicolas. He was very welcoming the minute I walked in the door, helped me to understand the process and made sure I was happy with everything! I will make sure to only use that location now after this kind of service.

Tip top--both collecting and returning the car were free of aggravation. Car in excellent condition. Wish I could moan about something, because that's my nature, but all was good.
