Started the first day of full vacation with a breakfast from this place. Not sure what was better, the food or the ambiance. Set right on the rivers edge, the sound of running water, sun rising and hot coffee. Something told me it was going to be a good day. I had a breakfast sandwich and that coffee I spoke about, witch was just the right amount. Thank you for the great history lesson and the memories.

I thought the food was decent overall and the service was good despite it being packed. Excellent view of the mouth of the spring river!

If I could give it more than 5 stars I would. I'm not a hush puppy eater because everyone I've tasted was blane and straight out box taste. The hush puppies here was amazing, you can tell they make these from stratch. It actually had flavor and was nice and crispy on the outside. All the food was very well seasons, even the baked beans tasted like they added something extra vs straight out the can. I opted to have them grill my fish instead of fried. The waiter was nice and attentive. We even got to met the owner, he was very friendly and welcoming, such a pleasant man. I most definitely will be eating here again in the future

Nice location with beautiful views of the river, especially if dining at the outdoor eating area. Inside is quite spacious. Staff was super friendly & very attentive. Food was good, although a little pricey for the quality & quantity received. Overall, we were satisfied, and we would visit again. Parking can be limited next to restaurant, however there is a larger parking area across road (watch for sign).
