Dreamy spot on a bluff above the ocean. It has a golf course, but I’m into cycling. There are some of the best roads for cycling right outside the front door and the hotel was super very friendly and accommodating. I think most of the rooms have a balcony so you can enjoy the ocean and pine forest air 24/7. I only tried one of the restaurants but there are several on the premises as well as several along the coast and at a nearby high-end mall. Of course, the hotel restaurant view is hard to beat as it’s along the golf course. If you’ve ever been to Princeville, it’s similar in feel, but on the mainland. A small safety drawback is you can’t walk the golf course to the coast unless you’re playing golf and it’s a bit of a of a long walk around the course to get to the coast. Of course, I also don’t want to get hit by a golf ball so you can’t have hundreds of guests walking the course without some coordination. But if you’re cycling or running, there’s no better spot to be in as there’s a beautiful trail that hugs the coast and is closed to cars. The views are absolutely stunning on the premises and it’s one of the prettiest roads to ride or run on you can find in California. A for food. A for location. A for spacious rooms and balconies.

We needed a mental health escape !! Although we r still at the resort, we extended our stay, I wanted to express how absolutely fabulous this place is!! This is paradise! From all the staff to the accommodations it has been spot on!!! If you need pampering this is the place to go. We parked our car and have never left! Golf for the hubby , no problem got him on the course , need spa treatments , no problem they will find a way to get you in. Want to hike down to the beach go for it trails right next door! Want to ride horses, they will book. Room service til 10:00 pm! And The Pool is fabulous! It’s quiet and peaceful and then the fighter jets from The base fly over a couple times a day wow! It’s exhilarating and fun to see! Stay here play here and treat yourself to a wonderful vacation! We will back !!! But like my husband said quietly let’s not tell anyone about this place let’s keep it to ourselves lol❤️

Unmatched service and an impeccable atmosphere. The layout is a bit confusing but it's worth it. The staff is so friendly and accommodating, the food was fantastic, the views absolutely stellar. Highly recommend it.

The rooms are very clean and maintained, but they are nothing special. Bathrooms are clean but not big or luxurious. It's good as a lodge. Restaurants are also fine. But other than that, facilities (other than golf related) are lacking. Very calm and quiet place. Dog friendly. Lots of parking. And the staff is very friendly.

Not directly. You would need to walk through Torrey Pines State Park. Very nice trail, pretty...but about 1.5 miles each way.
Typically there is valet service, but currently you can also park in the garage directly across from the front entrance.
Same-day service is available seven days a week for guest laundry needs.
