The guys here are super helpful and easy to work with. The guy weighing was knowledgeable and very helpful. The guy behind the counter was good as well. For as many "interesting" people they see every day, they are always easy going yet, work their a$$es off!! I always appreciate your help and the business they run here is run well from what I've seen. I'll be back when I drink more cans of pop!! Lol. Thanks guys!

Love this place only place I go know all the guys that work here but lately if it wasn't for Larry knowing what he is going the way there yelling out what metals are on the scale and weight then I would loseoney cause there calling 30% when it should be 50% not happy they need to figure it out
Austy J
They bumped me to the front of the line during closing time cuz I needed an empty truck to wake up to. Good chunk change as well for 7 . 50 gal full of uncleaned wire

Expect it to be closed earlier than stated because they're super lazy and must hate their jobs. They will all have a very poor me attitude be very rude and rip you off if you don't watch the scale. I was told this so I investigated myself and all three times different days of the week inquired an issue. First time scale weight was different than stated, second time closed early third time weight was stated under scale readings and came back five minutes before closing hours and it was closed. My stated experiences are 100% accurate. My suggestion is using a different recycling service Spokane had a few. If you still attempt to use this one don't show up around closing, expect horrible customer service they are very rude employees and watch the scale.

I think they take most metals. Door hinges are usually steel and you get about .05 cents a pound. You might try Facebook Marketplace for a higher price. All my opinion!!
Yes we do. We are paying 2 cents per pound for them currently.
No...they don't take refrigerator or freezers.....you can call them to make sure. Seems like they have a sign not taking them any longer
Pretty sure they do
Yes I do and action recycling may take take them as they are but you should call them first hap the owner and his son have a great crew. So just make a quick call and see if they can help you today
They all pay about the same or they lose business
35 cents per pound. 40 cents per pound for over 100 pounds.
Wait I might want them, I love cordless phones. So much better than cord phones. Last spring I nearly choked my self to death chasing the damn kids across the street. You try calling 911 while chasing teenage hoodlums while the cord gets around your neck haha. Close one!
We do. Right now we are not paying for cardboard, but we do accept it if you want to drop it off.
I would keep putting them in the blue bin for the city. Your not going to get enough for your troubles!
It's a market traded commodity basically. So most places are around 6 to 8 cents per pound.
Action is Top notch.... 100% honest.. UN like the other recycle places in town. Always happy employee's and LOVE THE GUN .
No. There is no value to plastics in the Spokane area.
Copper wire or copper tubing?
For 925 silver ?any idea where to sell it
Plastics are hard to get rid of here in town because they have negative value. That means it costs more to have them recycled than what they are worth. So we recommend that you utilize the curbside recycling containers or the transfer stations and the WTE plant. They will all take them for free.
Yes, we buy that type of material quite often. Thanks Hap
I just moved back to Spokane, have Texas I D jus want to bring in cans ,do I need Washington State ID
www.actionrecycling.com has a general price list. If you need quotes for something that isn't on there, give us a call at 483-4094.
Yellow brass is $1.30 per pound.
We buy stoves, washers, and dryers but no fridges or freezers. Appliance warehouse in Hillyard has an ad in The Exchange that states the take fridges. Thanks Hap
You can do both ways.
If it is truly copper, yes. We have run into adhesive tape with a very very thin copper plating and that type has no value. Thanks Hap
We only handle metals and a few select household recycling items such as paper and cardboard here. You can always call the recycling hotline for information on all recycling in Washington State. 1-800-RECYCLE or 1-800-732-9253.
Washington State law says that no recycling can be done of kegs unless they come from a brewery or manufacturer of kegs.
If the oil pan (automatics) or oil plugs (manual) are completely removed, YES!
We take all four types. Chrome aluminum, aluminum without chrome, chrome steel and non chrome steel wheels.
No. The best way to recycle them is to put them in your curbside recycling. If you dont have curbside recycling, then the transfer stations or Waste to Energy plant will take them.
Lead acid car batteries are $0.20/lb.
Yes we do, we pay $.03 per pound. Thanks Hap
I would prefer not to. Why, and maybe how would gold and silver get covered in ear wax? Sounds like a biohazard I dont wish to deal with.
Crushed or not, they will take the cans, just make sure clean and you get the best price, they actively watch for "stuffed" cans, just like any sane business would : ]
I think they have a website, and update prices daily.
How much do you get from aluminum cans
Yes. We have people who will unload it and get it all sorted to get you the most amount of money.
$1.30 per pound.
Mercury has value although because it's so hazardous the shipping permits for it exceed the value. Nobody in the local area takes it.
We we we are paying $0.02/lb. for them.
No because of the oil and freon inside. Waste to Energy plant takes them for a fee.
No you can only get paid for the cans action is more a metal recycling company there is a recycling place here in town were you can take plastics an maybe get paid for them but not sure on the name of that company
As of today, it's 50 cents a pound for aluminum cans, 55 cents if you have more than 100 pounds, just make sure they are clean/not full of anything ^_^
Yes. They can either be aluminum or steel. Aluminum we just mix in with our pop cans. Steel we keep separate and pay 2 cents per pound.
I am not sure what happened. Lots of people walk out with hundreds or thousands of dollars. I would like to see what went wrong or why you feel that way. Please give me a call and I would be happy to discuss it with you. We have a great reputation, and try to do EVERYTHING to help our customers receive the most amount for their material. Update: Sandra, I found your invoice. Looks like you were selling Silver. We paid you 30 cents per gram on scrap sterling. I don't know of anyone else in town paying that much. You are welcome to come back here and pick up your stuff. I have it on my desk, and you can sell it elsewhere. I am not worried about the $6.88 ... Just come get your material.
Steel bike frames are $30 per ton right now. Aluminum bike frames if they are completely aluminum without steel are $0.50/lb or $0.46/lb if they are painted.
About $1.93 per pound
We are currently paying 50 cents per pound for cans.
We only take some electronics. We do NOT accept TV's, monitors, keyboards, mice, audio equipment. Those can be recycled at Goodwill Industries.
Right now we are paying: $37.50/gram 24kt $19.54/g 18kt $16/g 14kt $11.26/g 10kt
Yes we do.
Sorry no
Should look online I only turned in aluminum cans-sorry
The guys there are awesome and they will help you sort your stuff for maximum payout
I would assume about $2-3 a piece. They aren't worth very much, but you can call and ask. The prices change.
No it's by the CCS
Is there any bodies on em?
Check their website. They have a list with prices on it
