Very happy with our new asphalt driveway. American Asphalt was excellent to work with from our initial meetings, contracting, and installing the driveway. Our driveway was not a large project - most local contractors were not interested. Overall, their pricing was very competitive and fair. We would use American Asphalt for future asphalt needs.

3 times I've contacted them for a quote on my driveway. I've called, emailed, and even filled out an online form, 2 weeks ago (subsequent calls as well). Crickets. If you're in need of anything timely, this place should definitely not be on the top of your list.

Get your permits. Mill the old surface, lay down the grade and base. Install and compact the asphalt. Stripe and mark.
Without a lot of experience and without the proper machinery your driveway is doomed and will be extremely bumpy as well as water will probably not drain correctly if you were adamant about still doing it I can give you lots of pointers call our company phone number and ask for Gerard and I will do my best to give you all the information you need
