Completely horrible experience. My boyfriend called to ask what the drink specials were and he was told that all day on Monday margaritas are $4. When we went to the restaurant we ordered two each and a queso. When we received the check it was for $75. My boyfriend later called back the restaurant to clarify what the drink special was and the young lady on the phone hung up on him. I reached out to the GM the next day and was told that they charged for the quality of the drink and that there was nothing that he could do about it. There needs to be retraining across the board. I shouldn't have to tell the waiter what the drink specials are he should be telling me.

This is my familias favorite restaurant. Been brining by boys here since they were very young. Our favorite place to eat at as a family. Love their salsa and chips. The Miguels happy plate with Shrimp is my favorite.

If I could leave 0 stars I would. Usually I come to Miguel's and they do a great job, but today was the worst. My group and I came to the restaurant at around 5:30pm. We were waiting on two other guests to arrive but decided to get appetizers and order without them after waiting awhile. Whenever the appetizers came out, the quest was cold and had to be reheated and it didn't have any flavor along with the guacamole that was ordered. Once our food came out, my order was wrong and I notified our waiter, Elder. He came out with the boss (older woman) and she asked what my order was so that it could be fixed and told me it would be out within 10 minutes. Eventually the rest of our party arrives (2 guests btw) and I still hadn't received my order. Elder (the waiter) comes to take their order and I asked him about my food and said "I've been waiting for almost about 45 minutes for it to be remade. If it's not ready or being made, then I don't want it anymore." He said "let me go check." Once he comes back to the table he said "They never remade your order and can't make it because they're working on a party of 45 people." I then asked to speak to the boss (woman) and Elder said she can't come because she's cooking. I then asked to speak to the owner and asked if the older man standing at the door was him. He said "that's not the owner. He's a customer." My friend decided to go see if that's the owner and when she told him I'm having a problem with my order the owner replied "that's her problem not yours." I gather my stuff and go to speak to the owner and he says "You sent the guacamole back. What was wrong with it? Your food was being made but you didn't want it and all of our staff are working on the large party, maybe if your guest weren't late this wouldn't have happened. There's nothing I can do." I then said, "My friend sent the guacamole back and that was her order so it has nothing to do with me. The waiter told me my food wasn't made and couldn't be made. If my order was in the process of being remade I would have taken it. I come to this restaurant often and like coming here but today this was poor service." The owner still didn't have anything to say and didn't try to make anything right. Also, while I was waiting on my food to be remade, Elder didn't clear the table of cups or chip but serviced everyone else around us. I'm very disappointed.

We choose Miguel’s to celebrate a birthday. They weren’t busy but the waiter did nothing but rush us. He couldn’t even be bothered to wait until our entire party had been seated to take our drink order. I informed him that we had another member still walking to the table but he simply asked what that person wanted. The food was good although my black bean soup was served room temperature and with none of the garnishes described in the menu. I decided to take it home to warm up for lunch the next day but had to explain to this waiter why I couldn’t take SOUP home in a box! Had to ask twice to get a container with a lid. No dessert was offered and while we had originally planned on ordering the lava cake to celebrate the birthday, the service was so bad that we just wanted out at that point. Needless to say, not at all what we had in mind for a birthday dinner. I’d always heard good things about this place but I honestly don’t get it. I can’t imagine returning there.
