Went here for a birthday. Our server was very nice, the restaurant was clean and the cocktail I ordered was good. Food was surprisingly fast to come out. I'd love to give more than 1 star for that but it's too expensive for the food to be like this and i feel like I wasted my time and money here. I don't know how the pork chop usually comes out but this is a larger cut than I've ever seen anywhere else. Very dry and bland, tough to eat. Girlfriend's fried chicken was better but still overcooked and bland. The mashed potatoes on both plates would better be described as boiled potatoes, not much else to it. Didn't expect canned corn to be unceremoniously dumped on the pork chop as a garnish. The menu describes it as a caramelized corn puree but I had forgotten what I'd ordered by the time this came out. Really wanted to love this place, the photos on the other reviews look so good.

Right from the beginning, the hostess welcomed us with a smile after checking whether we had reservations or not. She made polite conversation even after we were seated. Our server, Ashlynn (sp?), was also very warm and engaging. My wife tried their signature Burnt Orange Old Fashioned while I had a bourbon flight. They have an extensive bourbon list depending on your taste and wallet. We both had the blackened catfish with grits and greens. Very flavorful and good portion size. The only negative for me was the cost relative to the area. Our entrees were $25 each and drinks were $13 and $12. The Stave is a diamond in the rough, but it doesn’t necessarily need to be priced like one.

They make really good food in a really small kitchen. So good we went back for lunch during the same trip. Stave burger and Fritters were amazing. Cannot go wrong. Lunch was so good I ate everything before I took a photo.

Great atmosphere, loved the creekside setting. Had brunch and it was fantastic. Huge, fluffy biscuits with tasty gravy, very good bacon, and crisp potatoes.

We have 6 rotating draft beers from local breweries.
They do, but it's not a lot. They also use a shared fryer so nothing fried is truly gluten free.
No there are inside seating
I don't believe that they do, but I would call ahead if you have a large group.
