Remember to use ʜoᴛᴇʟʙoʟʟʏ.ᴄᴏm when booking your hotel. This web site will compare countless booking websites and typically will have rooms a lot cheaper compared to others! Thank me later! This place is one of the most well known in the area. I've been staying here for years. If you stay for a few nights you will love it I'm sure! I have NEVER had such a smooth or welcoming experience at ANY hotel in my life. From start to finish, booking was easy, the staff were warm and generous, they made early check in and late checkout accommodations, they answered every question and did everything they could do to make our experience wonderful. I booked the room for my daughter's 21st birthday and they sent her sparkling rose and gave her a beautiful city view. They remembered my name and helped with every detail to make it perfect. From valet to concierge to management and customer service representatives, I cannot express my gratitude or my happiness enough. If you want a warm Seattle welcome, this is the place to go!

We had a great stay at this hotel. Front staff was very friendly and accommodating. They were able to check us in early which was amazing. We had a corner suite and you could just barely see the water, but still a pretty decent view. Bottled water is complimentary which is always a plus too. It was fairly conveniently located to plenty of things to do. The aquarium was about a half mile and we were able to walk there with no issues. I would definitely stay here again.

Surprised by how good this hotel actually is! The location is convenient. Parking is all valet unless you want to self park at a lot some distance away and hike back. No thanks, especially not in the dark. The valet staff is kind and patient and they seem careful about their job. Front desk staff is pretty casual while remaining appropriately professional, helpful in answering questions as well as acknowledging special tier guests. A nicer room on the 26th floor with a king bed plus sofa next to the window was good, if slightly small-feeling, but hey, it is downtown and real estate, even on interiors, is at a premium. Anyway, sort of a long and narrow shape to the room and bathroom, but tastefully minimalistic in decor so it's easy to get work done sitting at the console desk or brew a coffee with the in-room machine. The only downer is the same one everywhere (labor shortage issues), which is that there are somewhat limited hours for getting food from their restaurant. The bar area is pretty good. The food surprisingly decent, too. And a great, super cold martini. At least they tell you the hours up front, though, and you can plan accordingly. So all in all, very nice. Oh, and good security wherein you need your room key to get the elevator moving up to your room floor!

The W is in a great location. Tens of restaurants & shops in walking distance, right down the street & within 4-6 blocks. Valet parking is like $60, but that’s basically your only option & best option, if you rented a vehicle. Due to my wife’s Marriott status, we got upgraded to the Vice Presidential Suite, which was huge, and had great views of downtown Seattle & down to the Waterfront. The bed was super comfy, and the sofa in the lounging area was a great touch if you wanted to spread out without being in the bed. The jacuzzi tub in the suite was a little small, for it to be the VP suite. The shower controls were actually reversed, so if you turned towards the blue side, the water actually got hot, and got cold once you turned towards the red end. That was a little weird. There was some leftover dessert in the storage piece(makeshift refrigerator that wasn’t actually a fridge), from the previous guest that was in there. So the cleaning crew missed that. The room wasn't cleaned while we were there, but that is a running COVID policy with all the Seattle hotels. But you won’t know unless you ask about it. The lounge in the bottom of the hotel has great ambiance & great service from the bar. Also, the front desk staff is very helpful if you need to ask any questions of the surrounding area. Book this hotel if you want to ditch the car, and get out & explore everything on foot(or take quick Ubers).

There is a parking lot.
No, however, ther are locations nearby.
I don't believe they do..I would contact the property to make sure.
Some US hotels and attractions will accept Canadian Military under their discount programs. Most international chains will honour other Government organizations.
No shuttle - depending on luggage the train is very handy option too
There is a very good restaurant in the hotel itself
They do not validate parking. They give you in-and-out privileges in the next door structure; but that is it
University
Parking within the hotel itself
They do not, but they are very easy to get to from the Link station a block away. It's a 30-40 minute Link ride from the airport.
