Okay. So I’ll leave my honest opinion in summary. I thought the food was good, beer was good, while rather expensive, but the staff was the worst part of my experience two days in a row. They seemed rude. Didn’t want to serve me, more interested in chatting with the locals. When I did order food, they got it wrong. I asked “to go” and I had to remind them, when they brought out a salad I was hoping to eat at home. I had Jess as my bartender, and she seemed unenthused to serve me.. It was like she wanted me away from the bar, for her friends etc. I ordered an appetizer on 2nd night, and she rudely asked if it was to go, while implying I should like another beer. I can only assume, because the night previous, I had asked for chicken wings and a salad to go. And, what do you know, the night before they didn’t listen to me. Brought me salad on a plate and acted like I was in the wrong, even though I asked for it to go. As soon as Jess dropped off my “appetizer/dinner,” and without asking, snatched up my menu and took it to a customer a few seats down. I’m sorry I have seen a lot, but that was one of the rudest things I’ve ever experienced at a “restaurant.” To top it all off, I had no idea the place closed at 8 pm. So, bartender took my menu, and failed to inform me that they closed in about an hour. I was planning on ordering dinner, but had no idea they closed at 8 -9 pm. I just would have appreciated a, “heads up, kitchen closes in 30.” Instead of someone giving my menu to another customer. Honestly the three stars are for the cooks because they make this place. The food was fantastic and the service atrocious.
