Would like to give Meredith Lodging zero star. We booked a place here and walked in, it stank and its had huge stains in the carpet. Their answer was have us wait in our car, in the rain, with 2 dogs while they checked it out. A housekeeper came in and cleaned the stains( yeah right, in 5 min.) Well we were both grossed out and upset. Meredith Lodging said "screw you". They refunded 350 of a 1000 stay. So we want home rather than staying there. They wouldn't even give us a credit to stay in another place. Horrible company , buyer beware.

Amazing lodge! I started going here when I was about 7 or so until 16 and finally visited and payed for myself at age 29 and wow it is just like I remembered. Right on the beach with the most gorgeous views and close to hawk creek Cafe and omg its beyond words. Thank you for making our stay so special.

I have to give one star, because I don't have the option to give them a zero! My wife and I cannot comment on the amenities or even the property itself, because our reservation was messed up so badly we were unable to secure one. On Sunday May 3rd we initially booked our reservation online for the number 6 unit for the 4th of July Weekend. It was secured, or so we thought. On Tuesday, May 12, the reservation specialist (Danielle) called my wife to say she had no idea how that home was available for rent since the owners don't have this unit in the rental pool. She assured us that they have others units available and they would just move our reservation over to either the #3, 8, or 9 units. No harm, no foul. We called back the same day and booked the #9 unit with Louis. Everything seemed just fine until Louis called back to say the #9 unit was booked so he just put us into the #3 unit. All is good, until we got our confirmation email yesterday, May 14th, that confirmed us for the highly desirable midweek dates of JUNE 2-5, not our actual dates of July 2-5. When we called to discuss the problem today, all units were spoken for and unavailable. For all of the reservation mishandling, we were offered a credit of some sort....I am a small business owner and I would be embarrassed to be associated at all with this company. The employees need more training and the company needs to have a better policy in place to take care of customers affected by company mistakes.
