The boat was very nice and clean. We had a beautiful day to be out on the water. Unfortunately, we didn't see any whales but we understand wildlife does operate on our schedules. We were able to see Harbor Seals and Harbor Porpoises. It was a great day to spend time out on the water.

Unfortunately, we didn't see much on our trip, but as with all things in nature, where and when animals make an appearance is beyond the control of the boat. They did go to two or three different locations to try to find some sightings. The crew was very friendly and there was a lot of information communicated over the speakers throughout the trip (pointing out and going over the background of lighthouses, historical sites, etc). They also shared a lot of information about the animals that we did happen to see, and it was very educational. If you can handle standing for 2-3 hours, find a spot standing by the railings in the front of the boat as soon as you get on the boat for the best views. Skip finding a seat at all. Also, no real need to pay extra for the top deck seats; you can see just as well if not better from the main deck if you're up front.

NOTE: They do not guarantee to see the whales. It dependable on the luck. I spent 4 hours but just saw some seals and sea birds, which is the reason I gave only 3 stars. The crew was knowledgeable and very positive to find the places to see the whales, even made a U turn on the sea.

We didn't see any whales but we saw harbor porpoises, seals and sharks. One of your ship mates was so wonderful pointing things out to us. It was a lovely day out on the water. Wish we'd seen a whale 🐳but it was fun!

We didn't see orcas. Or anything I would have thought was a whale to be honest. We saw a sliver of a minke whale.
Not too far. 12 miles, I think. Less than 30 minutes away
There is a ramp that goes down to the boat. At low tide the ramp is very angled. At high tide it wasn't bad at all.
Just snack stuff and beverages for kids and grownups! There are a lot of great restaurants close by that you can check out before or after. If your not sure about your stomach- I would suggest after!
It's all on there web page. They leave at noon
