It's been a couple of years, but it's never too late for a review. In July 2020, my dad had a massive stroke and heart attack in northern Maine, he was life-flighted to Maine Medical Center, and our life-changing journey began. He was there for three weeks, and the nurses and doctors were nothing short of professional and went above and beyond to communicate with us daily, keeping us in the loop every step of the way. He was in ICU a few times, and we almost lost him more than once. He didn't fully recover from the stroke and is currently in assisted living for probably the rest of his life, but that is due to significant damage caused by the stroke. If it weren't for his doctors and nurses, there's no doubt he never would've made it. I didn't agree with the hospital's Covid restrictions, but I don't agree with anybody's Covid restrictions. That's no fault of their own, this review is about the staff that kept my dad alive, and we're forever grateful for all of you that graciously took care of my dad.

Extremely unfriendly to surgical patients family. I was told to go somewhere or my car or to cafeteria where I found my table filthy and was told , I could clean it and deposit the trash across the cafeteria.. Person very RUDE. This is by far the worst hospital in Maine. Do ctor was very friendly and informative, nurses were helpful and knowledgeable. Labs and phlebotomy were a nightmare. Very slow on discharge. Hospital I gave it a 1 star but that is too high!

I came in for an ERCP, every person I dealt with was professional, friendly, attentive, and knew what they were doing, from coming in the door to leaving. The nurses were excellent, anesthesiologist was comforting and clear. I was given the appropriate help for my abilities, and felt safe and cared for the entire time. As always Dr. Stefan was amazing! It has been a rough few weeks and I was frightened and anxious before I arrived. Thank you to everyone for being so compassionate!

While visiting Maine from out of state, we had to make a stop here after my 2 year-old son complained of pain in his groin area. Pediatrician back home said to take no chances, and have him checked out. We used the ER and it was a phenomenal experience. Extremely professional, compassionate, thorough and speedy; what more can you ask for? We were in and out in a matter of a couple of hours, the doctors were great, completed a ultrasound to put our minds at ease and we were on our way shortly. Terrific hospital.

Fine I won't go
You can call, but it's the patient who gives this information to the patient Access agent to update his hospital records. The best place is the Maine Medical Partner near you.
How's
I have no idea. You would have to talk to your dr or perhaps soneone in the radiology department.
Not stress out
Cost
On weekdays the outpatient lab is open from 8:30am to 5pm. On Saturday from 8:30 to 12pm. Closed on holidays and Sunday
There is a visitors parking garage off of Congress street, and parking lot at the South entrance on Chadwick St. And there is a valet service during the day
The main number is 662-0111. You used to be able to send a message online
HIPPA, also they have no way of knowing who you are.
This is a question which would be more appropriately addressed by www.mmc.org rather than google
There isn't only a normal patient advocate but also, I've seen, in the individual treatment rooms; both emergency and in-patient rooms a poster with an in house phone number which allows you to make department supervisors aware, very quickly, of your issue. Sorry that I don't have that number available (I never had a reason to complain) but be sure, there is such a number. Posted in plain sight.
Call Maine Medical and ask how to send mail to a patient.
I would start with calling Maqaechy Hall I don't have the number off hand that should point you in the right direction
