Had a great time. Only major problem was by the time it was my turn in line to get a drink the consession was sold out of almost everything. Only had 2 tiny bottles of water and alcohol left, no soda or other drink alternative.

Having lived in Portland my entire life, I do love this venue. It is a beautiful, building. The staff is very kind, and professional, and it is always clean. However, it is a shame, that even after Portland has dropped their mask mandates the auditorium continues to enforce masks and proof of vaccine cards. Such a disappointment. Another disappointment is the service fee they charge for tickets, even if you go in person to pick them up.

Great show. Family atmosphere.

No there is not. But I wouldn't go in just my jean and tshirt. I'd say at least dress for the occasion.
A call may be in order

Yes, there is.
You would have to ctc the hotel to see, all the concerts/events I have been to dont remember seeing g any ut does not mean there is none
Not a " formal" coat check, but I have worn my fur more than once and asked them to take care of it, and it has not been a problem.
Hi Nancy~ It is not. There are tickets available thru our boxoffice ~ PortTix. You can buy them online at Porttix.com or by calling 207-842-0800. Thank you!
Typically doors to the house open a half hour prior to show time. Doors to the lobby, typically open 1 hour to 45 minutes prior to show time.
The venue does not have it's own parking, so you are at the mercy of available spots at a nearby municipal lot. It tends to be $10 for event parking. Spots are first come first served. Event ticket prices are not changed for handicap requirements, and available seating locations are also first come first served. I would recommend communicating directly with the box office for accommodations.
There are 2 parking lots the next block over, Pearl St I think. Top of the Hill parking that is cash only and across pearl street they open up a 2nd that accepts cash or credit cards. There are also parking garages within walking distance as well as on street parking. I have been to several summer concerts and shows amd have never had an issue finding something at either of the 1st two lots or within reasonable walking distance. Hope this helps
Yes the elevator is easily accessible.

We attend the Magic of Christmas every year and they have not cancelled it for storms. Would be surprised if they would for this storm.
As Christian said there is a full listing of events through the next year at minimum on their website. This can be accessed through Google Maps (visit website) or through a Google search of Merrill Auditorium Portland Maine events.
