Craig is the best supervisor at the store. I have purchased a .22lr and 9mm pistol at the Lakeland store. I have always recieved a competitive price here. I have been going here for the ten years and enjoy it every time. Morgan has made sure the process is seamless on purchases. I love here!!!

I have been a customer of Shoot Straight since Nov 2021. The staff has always been extremely helpful trying to accommodate my requests for specific guns I was interested in. I was voicing my frustration with a manager about a shotgun I was wanting when Barry went right over to the computer and located my gun in the Cassellberry location. We went right up there the next day and purchased it. Kudos to Barry for his excellent customer service.

Earlier in April 2022 I made a purchase on Gun Broker, selected Shoot Straight Lakeland as my Registered FFL dealer and boy I was glad I did. Right away I noticed they had several sales representatives working on the floor who were friendly, had knowledge and were available to help. They had a large selection of accessories and merchandise available for purchase. My sales clerk Morgan made picking up my purchase from Gun Broker simple and easy. She even recommended additional magazines, checked the inventory and found them for me. Morgan also recommended joining 2A Legal, presented me with the brochure and after I read over the information I decided to join. Morgan from Shoot Straight Lakeland is Awesome and I appreciated her excellent customer service. I will be returning and recommending this location to my family and friends.

I would like to take a concealed weapon class, how much?
There is no firearm registration in the State of Florida and you are also not required to have a Concealed Weapons Permit or Pistol License to possess a handgun, so no "paperwork" should be needed.
Hey Jim, Thanks for the question, just bring in a valid driver’s license with your current residence to the Lakeland Shoot Straight. The staff will help you pick out a firearm, ammo and accessories if you aren’t sure what you need, then you’ll fill out paperwork for the gun and pay. A background check will be ran and you’ll have to wait 3 full business days after you purchase before you can take possession of the firearm unless you have a Florida concealed weapons firearm license. Let us know if you have anymore questions, Raul Gonzalez Shoot Straight Regional Manager
$1 each for the basic ones
Based on what I saw while there, you should be able to, but you'll be in the rifle range to shoot it and they don't allow bird shot.
21 now in the "Great State of Florida" thanks to Governor (now Senator) Scott...
21 now in the "Great State of Florida" thanks to Governor (now Senator) Scott... you should only need a valid, government issued ID.
Hey Andreen, No you don’t need to have a concealed permit to buy a handgun but you will have a 3-5 business day wait (depending on the county) and you need to be a Florida resident. So just bring a valid FL Driver’s License with your current residence to your nearest Shoot Straight and we’ll make sure you get taken care of. Let me know if you have any other questions. Raul G. Yes. Weekly. Soonest is tomorrow night, Fri. 04/12. $75. 6-9-p.m. You can walk in. Please arrive about 15 min's. early to register. For more dates call the store 863-937-8021.
Yes, you can use a rifle on an indoor range. Most rifles get zeroed on a 25 meter/yard target anyway. You don't need a 100 or 200 meter range to zero your rifle. Plus it's a lot more comfortable than being in 95° Florida heat.
We do have a company who performs this service. We are not interested in a change at this time.
Shotguns are allowed in the rifle range. No birdshot. Last time I went they told me i could only use ammo purchased from them. The offered only slug/buck. I asked why and was told it was to prevent birdshot and reloads.
I think it depends on the gun
yes
Yes, but you must have a concealed weapons permit or own and possess a firearm.
Steel case yes. No armor piercing rounds or tracer rounds.
Yes, on the rifle range side.
Go in there and talk to a manager. They will be able to further assist you
The range is $15 / hr / person. Children under 12 are 1/2 price (under 18 must be directly supervised). There are several different memberships types available and we have some first responder discounts too. Range is open 10-8 M-Sat. and 11-6 Sun.
Yes. We can do a bore sight for you, about $10 unless you also need the scope mounted. We can then explain how to make the final adjustments.
There is no official military discount. We usually try to help our active military customers out with a discount where possible.
the answer below is not true. You can rent a gun without a concealed permit. You just need an id. As far as the rates they are close but you dont have to have a membership. I literally have no idea why this person went into such detail and not much of it is even correct. Go shoot bro! Have fun! It will cost like 25 to 40 bucks all together and youll get more than 100 rounds for that.
You may bring your grandson who is ok to shoot but must be under your direct supervision. You would have to execute a liability waiver for him.
We do have rentals with some restrictions.
You just apply for the type membership you choose. Membership is not required though and you can simply shoot by the hour. You complete a liability waiver and are issued a range card which is good for the remainder of the year (at any of our stores)
Yes, for most calibers. Or you can bring your own factory ammo and targets. We do not allow reloads on the range.
$16.05 each. They are not strict about the time limit unless it's real busy. .44 magnum is the limit on the pistol range.
Wait for a gun show.
