Writing this post a couple of weeks after moving out of the complex. Upon our pre move our inspection, we were given an estimate that would not return our security deposit and we would have to pay extra. This was for cleaning, small damages that were prone to happen due to the quality of the materials you are living with. We were told that if we were able to fix certain things, the amount would go down, and we did fix the things we were able to. I received a call that our final inspection was done, and every charge listed aside from one was not at all mentioned in our pre move our inspection. It is so disappointing considering myself and my roommates are college students struggling to pay rent already, and we are slapped with a ridiculous bill to pay after the fact along with not receiving our security deposit. These “damages” we were meant to pay for aside from one or two of the charges are completely normal wear and tear, and yet we are the tenants that have to pay for all new carpet? Unfortunately they perform a pre inspection they gets the tenants hopes up about cost, just to be blindsided by a bill 1000 dollars more expensive then we expected.

Not the Irvine Company’s Concern: This location has single pane windows so the apartment is either freezing cold or hot. There are roaches, silverfish, and spiders. The maintenance will enter your apartment without your permission regardless of the appointment date (invasion of privacy). The maintenance team will not replace, but instead try to repair outdated broken or leaking appliances. The cabinets and counters are particle wood and are rotting/ deteriorating (probably from the 1980’s). The laundry room only operates through an app that crashes often, doesn’t allow you to start loads of laundry, and you are often left with mildew clothes or have to pay for multiple loads of laundry (WASH Connect). The Irvine Company picks and chooses which properties they provide the level of service/quality in their mission statement/ company website. I would not recommend moving here. Save your $1700 a month. They will mention on this feed about reaching out to, however this is an automated response. Nothing will be remedied or addressed when you are a billion dollar corporation.

A Karen type self proclaiming manager named Sherin, who is probably just a part timer, works in the leasing office of this area. She kiss ups to the front desk guy Luis and talks loud and most times tries to cut you off. Super unprofessionally inadequate of the old lady. I think she needs some vitamins. I just wanted pricing on a parking space and was scurried out since they thought all parking spaces were $100. By the way it's not. Best to not get scammed by their parking prices. You could actually get a $50 parking permit.

I had the worst experience in my life today dealing with their office to get my car back after they had it towed with no reason. The parking permit was inside the car and they towed the car without checking for the parking permit inside the car or even their records if the car registered or not just to get the towing fees with no right which is $300 . I spent 3 hours talking to the assistant manager in the office with no outcome she kept telling me confusing information about their rules in towing which is all not applied here in my case. and what she only worried about was my tone of voice and how am I suppose to talk to her instead of solving my problem.
