Happy to see more public spaces opening specially trails areas that are family Friendly. The Devil's punch bowl trail does need some maintenance and is sad to see that most of the vegetation was burn but some bushes are growing back and the little stream at the bottom is slow bringing the color back to the scenery. Overall a great weekend destination.

Love this unique mountain formation, hiking trails are well maintained and the views of the Antelope Valley are spectacular! There are public restrooms and a Forest Ranger is available to answer questions.

You may bring dogs but they must remained leashed.
I just went and the snakes were still there in the visiting center .im not sure about holding them i didnt ask .they also have a beautiful white owl nane ruth in there and one outside
The park is closed when the sun goes down. But, they do have starry night walks, but I have no idea when. But only a few starry night walks, so check with them.
Better off going to big rock creek or lake Jackson
The native Americans used to call the wild cats something synonymous to devil's because they could disappear and reappear in seconds. The rock formations make a giant bowl shape. Eventually, the location became known as the Devil's Punchbowl.
I always start hiking early on Sunday and is open
Yes! They are open with a ranger available to answer questions and recommend the best highlights of the surrounding area.
It’s been closed forever - they need to open it. The bobcat fire was over 2YEARS AGO!!
The ticket is 5000$, it is best not to go around the gate. The fine is posted on the gate.
I understand that there is more than one place called The Devil's Punchbowl. This one is in Antelope Valley California. And yes, they still do the hikes at various times of the day.
I'm assuming you mean water in the creek. They are correct. The creek is pretty low and almost dry the last time I was there(A month ago). If this is the main attraction, I say not worth it. It is a nice hike though. Vazquez is awesome too.
As Cesar said, there is a stream in the Punch Bowl and the stream runs right along the trail for a bit. On the way up to the Devil's Arm Chair you walk through (across) a stream which has a tiny waterfall of sorts.
There isn't a parking lot. There are 10 or so spots and they can fill up quick.
