First time hiking to cooper falls, and it was worth it. Beautiful waterfall.

Went there a couple years ago during a dry season, definitely planning to go back after these rainy days.

Last time I came here is just dry and not that impressive. This time it’s simply just “wow~” water is everywhere and water sound is everywhere ~. Besides the most famous huge waterfall cooper canyon fall, there is a smaller but still awesome water I named it Burkhart fall. Hope you guys can find it too as I just added it to the google map

From what i remember the camp ground is a big clear spot but there are a good amount of trees to pitch a hammock
Oh sorry. I assumed buckhorn campground. Cooper Canyon doesn't have a water spout but it is close enough to a river where you can filter.
The camp grounds have their own water spouts to collect water from. Other than that it is about a 15/20 minute walk to the nearest river.
As of 3 weeks ago the falls were flowing and it flows year round in my experience, although at lower level.. campground stream was only a trickle.
