Captain Connor was amazing! We have been deep sea fishing a dozen times and this was by far our best experience. He knew his stuff and he were catching bass nonstop on our half day. We also took my two daughters and he was patient with them. We will definitely be back! Definitely worth the price for a private charter vs a party boat.

This was the experience of a lifetime! We hooked a thresher shark within the first 5 minutes, and landed him and let him go a half hour later! Craig had another group land another thresher earlier that day, so he gave us 4 huge shark steaks so we could let ours go, and still try shark meat! Best fish I have ever tasted, without a doubt. Captain Craig intuitively knew when my kids were ready to mix things up so we decided to go find some whales. Naturally, within a few minutes we were within 20-30 yards of cow and calf gray whales. Then it was off to see the dolphins. Literally hundreds of them, and Craig got us literally right on top of them, and they were swimming right up to and along with the boat! Then it was back to fishing! The best 3 hour trip imaginable! Worth every penny!

I went on a day trip with Dana Point Sportfishing yesterday with a couple friends. Captain Chip was our captain and tour guide. He toured us around the best fishing spots surrounding Catalina Island. Right from the start of the trip we were constantly catching fish! Chip took awesome care of us and showed us how the pros do it! Not only did we have a great time but we all learned a lot about fishing I did not know previously thanks to Chips experience and knowledge. We will deffinetly be going back out with Captain Chip and the Dana Sport Fishing crew, we had a blast!
