The lady was very helpful. The other lady gave my daughter wrong information that's why I went with her. They need to do a mandatory class to give them better skills.

Generally I open with a positive statement on any experience for all reviews I write. Unfortunately there is nothing positive to say about this experience. You come to the front door and will be heavily scrutinized by the security, if you’re like me and you carry a binder or a satchel with all of your documents and necessary office supplies leave things like scissors at home even if their safety scissors they will be confiscated or thrown away which I had to do. And if you are a man you will have a harder time getting through any timely manner. You need to have someone served, do not trust this police force to do it for you. You will wait on pins and needles to get any sort of response and likely the person will not even be served at all. Moving upstairs to the claims court area, you are never told in a timely manner what room you’re going to be in, and always plan to stay longer than necessary because they do not start on time usually 30 minutes if not more behind. You need any sort of advisory question answered by the staffers who read off the court case numbers and last names you will not get any questions answered because they don’t know the answers. Going inside the quart room, if you even get inside expect nothing short of a horror story, Especially if you win, you’re basically told good luck to collect your money that you’re owed.

Absolutely, positively the rudest, biggest WASTE of my time I've ever endured. The Small Claims Advisor I spoke with was incredibly rude, kept cutting me off and didn't show the wherewithal to assist anyone, it simply sounded like I was wasting her time completely. It wasn't until I started quoting the law and assigning monetary damages to my complaint that she paid even the slightest attention to me and asked no less than 6 times what it had to do with Small Claims. Pathetic and incompetent would be compliments for the individual answering the phone at 2 p.m. 6-11-2018. An utter and completely unprofessional individual who acted like I was interrupting her lunch. It got to the point that I started asking her who her supervisor was, then she calmed down and discussed my case, after interrupting me repeatedly. It was the single biggest waste of my time I've endured. You're MUCH better off just calling an Attorney for a free consultation. This line is a total travesty and likely only available because some law says so. I cannot emphasis what a complete jerk the person answering the phone was, just the stereotypical passive-aggressive State employee who is forced to monitor a phone.

I have used the phone number on the website. it goes to automated phone system. The system allows a selection to speak to clerk, but does not actually work only repeats the introduction again. I have tried it 6 times during the times posted on the website and it does not work. Please post a phone number that actually works I have contacted the webmaster three times and only get referred to the non working phone number thank you Mike Shepherd

You can and see what they say. Each situation is different.
You can go to the courthouse 330 Broadway SD and go to the 2nd floor to small claims.
As far as the cost or fees, it depends on how much you are asking for in your claim/complaint.
Www.1strateprocessing.com we can help you.
2nd floor
Those are both impossible questions to answer with the information you've provided. It depends on your situation. The website has average cost for filing, it varies on each claimant. The website has a phone number if you need more information you'll have to call.
You need to go to the DMV: www.dmv.ca.gpv
They are currently taking about 4 months to mail judgements.
Pretty sure its 5000
It was like $35
I think is about a year but you can ask at the small claims department.
