While we were at the hospital I took a picture of my son and found this reflection in the sunglasses if you zoom in on the left eye you can see it! Ghost?

Absolutely horrendous. They replaced my hip and I woke up on the operating table with no pain mediation, naked, mere minutes after surgery. The epidural didn’t work correctly, because they installed it wrong. They wouldn’t give me morphine because they didn’t order it the day prior. I was only given a few pain pills, which did almost nothing for the tremendous pain. At 6:30 the next morning, with ZERO pain medication, they got me up to walk on the total hip replacement. This place is a torture chamber, not a hospital.

Do not give birth here! The midwife, Jen, treats you like garbage!!!!! I had an emergency c-section here and she came in my room the next day and said, "I see you chose a c-section..." NO. No one CHOOSES to get major abdominal surgery! (I want to point out that my spouse had surgery at a civilian hospital on his arm and has had at least 4 checkups since to watch the healing; there is one appointment for c-section recovery and they only look at the incision, they do not check to make sure your internal healing is progressing at all). The majority of nurses and corpman in the maternal ward are rude! I had two nice nurses, but the rest were awful! One nurse even yelled at my 7 year old for bringing me flowers, heartless lady right there. After they released me, they gave me no assistance to the pickup area. They're more than happy to throw fentanyl at your pain though. Do better NMC! Military medical care is as close to socialized medical care as it comes! Dehumanizing, demoralizing, and humiliating! Get a referral and avoid this hospital!

NMCSD is a fully functional active duty and retired military hospital. Provided you can access the facility, and have accepted medical coverage, they can evaluate just about anything.
You need someone to get you on base and go to the ID CAC office in bldg 26 basement. I would go on the DEERS RAPIDS website and schedule an appointment first or call that office specifically. All info should be on that website, just Google DEERS RAPIDS.
I'd call to check
No
You might try records at Balboa. I'm sorry I don't know where it could be. Try going to the OOD's office by the flag pole.
32nd Street NEX
Call (619) 532-6400. This is the Quarter Deck number. The personnel on watch have that information and can transfer your call.
Sure, you'll need your Military ID showing your either Active, Retired or a Dependant. Then you have to see a Physician so he or she will know what prescription you need. You can call the hospital's Operator at( 619/532-6400) & ask to be connected to the Pharmacy. I hope this helped answer your question. Have a great day today!! 😄😊
Call over phone. Make appointment.

Call the quarter deck.
You can rent a wheelchair from any medical supply company who offers it. I rented my wheelchair for $70/month in 2013. At NMCSD, they don't rent wheelchairs.
