Very disappointed with the functioning of this temple. When we visited on a weekend, the main priest was sitting right in front of Balaji murthy and loudly talking in Telugu in the phone, he neither allowed peaceful prayer in front of the grand murthy or did he do his duty of doing arti. The 2 other priests were also standing in a corner talking, totally ignoring the devotees. This is a mainly vaishnaivite temple but the tulsi mala was dried up, old and un cared for. My suggestion to the temple founders-If you have brought Telugu priest because you are Telugu, at least make sure they are taking good care of the temple. How are you going to attract devotees to contribute for maintenance if your priest are not doing what they are supposed to that.There are great priests in so many states including your neighbor state in Tamil.N where they do a great job despite meager salary The murthy of Ganesha was at a corner as if totally pushed aside. The place is not maintained well at all. Very disappointed and will only go to other Hindu based centers and pray that the prana-murthies are transferred where they are cared for.
