Camp site is beautiful. Tent camps have no easy access to water spigot. Bathrooms are horrible. Very dirty moldy shower curtain. And they shut the shower off from 11 to 6 during tubing hours. Scared to check out the showers for the tubing as dirty as camp Bathrooms where. Porty pot also out of toilet paper and very dirty. No playground for kids. No staff on grounds from 630 pm till 11 am. Never did see a ping pong table.

If you want a safe river adventure for all ages, come to this spot. It's shallow and gentle, with some rapids if you feel courageous, or stay close to the shore. The river is clean and you can see through to the bottom. Water shoes are recommended. The campground is beautiful with the view of two mountains with its yoni center.

Great place for camping & tubing. Everything is so close. Affordable. We stayed in the Green tiny cabin and really enjoyed it. Wifi and cell connection are weak, so be mindful if you need to be in touch with the world or plan on streaming. It's probably not going to happen. Their office has some snacks and drinks, but you're definitely going to want to make a grocery run before coming. Make sure to buy a few gallons of drinking water too. Easy tubing section was about a mile. Bus would come about every 15 minutes. Very easy. If you wanted to do the rapids section you had to get out and walk back to the bus stop, but it took us no more than 10 minutes to make the walk. Bring old shoes or water shoes for sure. If you forget they have them for sale for $15 in the office. Lots of sizes. RVs and camping sites are close together. Some may not like that. You will see your neighbors and sometimes hear them. Each area had a firepit. They had wood for sale for $6. You could also buy ice from them. Local restaurants are not a short drive. Blacksburg is a nice city, but it's quite a drive from the camp. Don't think you're going to be able to shoot out quickly for a meal or for an espresso. You will be gone for a while. On our way home we went to Dixie Caverns. Just off of 81, near Roanoke in a town called Salem. Totally worth the detour! It is the closest cave New River Junction.

It's beautiful here. Absolutely. The folks that work here are nice. Tubing was fun. It's quiet and well maintained. The reason for the 3 stars is the bath houses. They are disgusting. I don't think they get cleaned. There was gunk everywhere.. shower shoes are a must.. It would be nice if they would update the bathrooms or add a few more.

11am.
No long term and hook ups are water and electric only.
The person working the booth should have it.
I do believe so. Saw a bunch of tents a couple weeks ago
You would have to check with the owner on that!
I have not camped there, I just go tubing. Look on their Facebook page.
You can bring your own tube. It’s not advised though unless you have an auto/truck inner tube. The pool-style ones aren’t sturdy enough to handle rocks without popping.
