worst customer service I've ever experienced. I'm on auto fill yet every winter I run out of propane. I had to call them 3 times and email them twice to even get on their emergency delivery and I still don't have propane and don't know when I will receive it.

Terrible customer service, After two weeks of calling for a refill gave up and called Aspen Valley Propane. Two days later had a new tank, the delivery person was friendly and made sure all the pilot lights were on. Now struggling to get AmeriGas to come pick up their its been 3 weeks

Our delivery mysteriously got changed to every 6 week's without notice our business ran out. This is how we heat our 17,000 square foot store. We called for an emergency refill two days ago. After being assured delivery was enroute yesterday....still no propane. Our store has been closed since! We will be switching to a company that doesn't play games and will actually do what they say they will do!! Used to be a good company. Amerigas bought them out and we've had nothing but problems. The person on the phone, indicated we were locked in at a lower rate and use is based on the previous year. So basically they are rationing fuel due to their increase in pricing, is my guess. Nobody can possibly be this incompetent!!

I hate that this Goliath bought out our little local community gas company. I used to be able to talk to someone within minutes who actually knew what propane is. Now I get to sit in hold for 30-40 minutes just to get someone in a call center 3000 miles away that knows nothing about propane. All they can do is schedule a tech to come out and charge me just to ask a few simple questions. Our old local guys would've been happy to talk over the phone for free, or even stop by and check it out since they're always in this area anyways. The call center girl couldn't even tell me how much the visit was going to cost! And God forbid I needed help soon because the window was weeks away. This is a small town in NE Washington where everyone knows each other and helps each other. Amerigas effectively eliminated an entire trade from our community. They actually sent out apology letters to everyone in town and thanked us all for our patience while we FREEZE in the middle of winter. They are very proud to help us MODERNIZE our gas experience by reducing local personnel to eliminate walk in customer service and force us to do everything online (which has proven unreliable) or call and wait on hold to get NO ANSWERS. WHAT A SLAP IN THE FACE! Half of us don't even have internet, phone service is spotty at best, AND THIS IS MODERNIZED?! Do some research on the community you're about to monopolize before you expect us to be thankful. YOU REPRESENT EVERYTHING THAT HAS DRIVEN CUSTOMER SERVICE INTO THE GROUND IN THIS COUNTRY AND SHOULD BE ASHAMED TO USE "AMERICA" AS ANY PART OF YOUR NAME.

If you are enrolled in our Automatic Delivery program, you do not need to contact us to request a delivery unless you've used more than expected and your tank reads 5% or below. "AmeriGas offers various payment options for your convenience. Automatic Payment: Have your payment automatically processed with our free automatic payment program. Log on to your MyAmeriGas online account to sign up! Pay Online: Pay your bill online, anytime, with no convenience fees. Once you log in to your MyAmeriGas online account, you will find options to pay yout bill on your account home page. Look for the blue ""Pay Bill Now"" button or links under the Billing and Payments navigation dropdown. Mail a Payment: Send your payment by mail. Mail your payment to us at the address listed on our invoice. Pay by Phone: Pay your AmeriGas bills by calling our service center 24/7 at 1-800-AmeriGas. Installation costs vary by the type of installation, the required amount of work and geography. The average cost for a customer-owned tank is $69.99 for the Service Dispatch Fee. The average cost for a standard installation or swap-out of an above ground tank is $250. There are additional costs if the tank needs to be buried or if additional work on gas lines needs to occur. Discounts may be available by location or promotion.
To order propane online, start by logging in to your MyAmeriGas online account and selecting 'Request a delivery' from the 'Deliveries' navigation drop down. Simply enter your request information to calculate your orders price and use the blue 'Place Order' button to complete the process. Ineligible customers will not see the 'Request a delivery' option from the 'Deliveries' navigation dropdown but can place an order by calling 1-800-AmeriGas. Forecast customers cannot place an order online, but can see if they have an open order or pending delivery.
AmeriGas will work with you to install a new propane tank if you need one and service your existing one. This includes the basic inspections done at each delivery as well as requested maintenance and service to your bulk tank. While we do not install individual appliances, we may be able to help direct you.
AmeriGas provides propane to power your home or your business, inside and out. This includes heating your home or business site, powering all of your propane appliances, and fueling work vehicles like forklifts and AutoGas fleets, including school busses. AmeriGas is also there with portable propane cylinders which power up anything from a barbeque grill to your restaurants patio heaters.
At this time, small commercial customers have the same options as residential Customers and can view history, make payment, and place an order online using MyAmeriGas. Currently, larger commercial customers can make payments online and have account managers available to them for in depth review of usage and billing histories.

In order to create your online MyAmeriGas account, you will need your account number. New customers can find their account number on their paper bill, or by calling customer service at 1-800-263-7442. Once you have created an MyAmeriGas online account you will also be able to access your account number anytime from your online account.
You can pay your AmeriGas bill online, easily! Start by logging into your MyAmeriGas account. If you do not already have a MyAmeriGas online account you can quickly create one using your account number and zip code. Once logged in, use the "Pay Bill" link at the top of the screen or the blue "Pay Bill Now" button on your account homepage. Next you will be alerted that you will be moved to a third party site to make payments, use the blue "Continue" button to continue. From there, under the "Open Bills" tab select your outstanding bill and click "Pay Bill". You will be also be able to look at your payment history and invoices from this screen.
"Setting up your online account is as easy as 1, 2, 3! All you will need is your AmeriGas account number and billing zip code. To get started, head to the AmeriGas website and click on the 'Login' button at the top of the page then select the 'Create an Account' button. Next, follow these three easy steps: 1. Identify yourself. The first step requires your account number and your zip code. New customers can find their account number on their paper bill. 2. Verify. In this step you will provide your name, phone number, and email address to confirm the account information. 3. Setup. Your email address will serve as your USERNAME and in this step you will set your password and security questions. That's it! Once your setup is complete, you'll review and accept the Online Terms of Use, and be able to enjoy all the conveniences of our online self-service."
