Management is terrible and lacks communication skills, apartment complex and neighbors are ok. If you sort reviews lowest to highest, you'll see management is the #1 issue with this complex. When my partner moved in, they were offered two options for a security deposit: pay 1 month rent as a refundable deposit, or pay $250 as a non-refundable fee. As 2+ months rent isn't always easy to come up with, my partner opted to pay the $250 fee. During move out, we accidentally damaged a piece of flooring. We assumed this would be covered by the $250 fee management charged in lieu of a "security deposit" but instead my partner was charged an additional $250 for repairs. Where did the initial $250 go? Was this just a fee charged for being unable to afford $2800+ upon moving in? Management also refused to refund or take off our mandatory "garbage pick-up" fee despite the trash not being picked up over 15 times throughout the lease. Each instance was recorded with dates the trash was set out and not picked up. It seems that management will try to milk you for fees wherever they can, and only respond to emails at their leisure. Again: the apartments are clean, the neighbors are mostly quiet, but management was the primary reason we didn't resign.

Heritage has a nice staff who are friendly, accommodating, and kind. Cassie and Andrea are great and are good about getting back to you if you have a question. Also, the maintenance and grounds team does a great job making the living community clean and updated.

I have lived in this complex for over a year and just transferred into a new unit. The new unit is beautiful (hats off for the renovations), I love the area and the complex feels pretty safe. I lived in this complex prior to management changing and I have to say, the new management and team are miles better than before! That being said, there are always little things that can get worked out with any complex, but every time I have communicated an issue, management here does their best to get everything worked out quickly and efficiently. However, the five star review is almost solely because Jay is positively the best maintenance guy I've ever had at any complex I've lived in. He has gone above and beyond each time to make sure that my unit is in great condition and everything is working properly. When I needed a drain unclogged, he not only unclogged the drain - he also cleaned my sink! I was having issues with the new dishwasher in my unit and he pulled some strings to get me a new one within a couple days! Can't thank him enough! I know certain requests I've made have had him go out of his way, but he not only completes everything in a timely manner, but he also is so personable and helpful in the process. It's always been a pleasure to interact with him, and I so appreciate everything he has done for me! It honestly makes living here so much more enjoyable when everything is working perfectly and maintenance communicates effectively and efficiently. Jay was a great hire here and a business is only as good as the individuals they hire. Don't let him go!
