Flowers, water, ducks and pathways. It is great to good early in the morning to feel the clean air and the nice flowers smell! Enjoy a nice bbq in the park while the kids play in the playground. Easy access by car, lots of parking area.

Beautiful rose garden, Japanese garden, the entire park. Leashed dogs are allowed everywhere EXCEPT in the Japanese Garden. Please be sure to clean up after them so we don't lose the privilege. Wonderful place to stroll on a beautiful day.

Such a beautiful and big park. We visited the greenhouses first which we could have spent longer than the 45 minutes we spent already there. Very beautiful, interesting, informative, and it wasn’t even sweltering hot inside! The gardens in front of greenhouse was gorgeous, literally looks like the entrance to an English Castle. The Japanese gardens were very pretty and spacious and peaceful! Loved the unique experience of coming to this park- makes for great picture opportunities and time spent well

Manito park is beautiful each time I go. I try to make it up there at least once a year. It is a destination spot for senior pictures because of his beautiful each of the gardens are. I medicinal garden is really unique, and I love the fountains and English garden is so beautiful each year. It never is exactly the same and has slight changes to the color and flower schemes. The rose garden is awesome and smells wonderful. I didn’t get any pictures of the Japanese garden but that is equally as beautiful. There are historical plaques around the gardens to help teach the history of the city and of each garden. I highly recommend you visit if you love flowers!

Yes. However nothing is in bloom yet. Just went last week.
Havent looked at the roses in a few weeks but the japanese garden and the park in general is gorgeous year round, go!
Dogs are welcomed, but must be on a leash. The only offleash area for dogs are in select dog park area, not in areas that are labeled as playground.
Directly in front of the conservatory.
Yes indeed. Only in winter are there no flowers (December, Jan)
They are cleaning the koi pond. Last I heard it was going to take a few months. Hoping it will re-open by this fall!
Not sheer
Yes it is, I was there last e. The only place not open was the Japanese garden
As of Wednesday it had not opened.
Yes. Can also reserve some areas
Yup plenty of grills provided.
I believe so. Just get a hold of park and recreations and they can answer all of your questions.
Across the street from 18th and S Grand
There are some runni g trails and also some gravel trails you can run through they aren't very long. I would say about 2 miles if you run through it.
Look at the pics you might be amazed
You might get in touch with the master gardeners at the conservatory. The friends of Manito have plant sales every year to raise money to maintain the gardens.
Google widget now let's you photograph something and it will image search. I did this several times in the garden.
a
The weather has been hot cold cold warm cold so we have yet to see spring in it's full glory...
Not the drive-through lights! You just drive right in and see them - after waiting in a long line😊
no
The garden is closed indefinitely. Hours are from dawn to dusk
Not sure. Last week [No]
Not that I have seen. It was shut down a week ago
Bikes are allowed at least everywhere a car can go. General park rules say no motorized vehicles on grass or pathways so it sounds like bikes can be ok on trails. The Japanese Garden has specific rules and rule 5 is "No Bicycles or Skateboards". Other rules for it are posted at all entrances.
I don't know. Probably call the Spokane parks and rec dept.
Yes
Yes
I'd say yes but beware of pedestrians on the paths, a lot of people walking around.
yes, leashed.
Not at all! Just be aware people will sometimes be in your way :)
In the conservarory theres lots of flowers!! I was just there today and the japanese gardens are packed with snow and in front of the conservatory is packed with a foot of snow so id think itd be at least a month before flowers are outside
Am not sure about
2 in park one in middle off grand ave other at south end of park off 25th ave.
Avoid being there after sunset, low visibility and less secure.
I'm not aware of the hours
Only if you're going to be using the Gazebo or the shelter's picnic area
Dogs are not allowed inside the greenhouse and i believe they are not allowed inside the Japanese Gardens either but I could be mistaken about that. Overall though the park is dog friendly! Be aware though there are no specific off leash areas but it's a great place to take fido for a walk!
It is open all the time except the snack shack and the conservatory.
Yes take Stevens south (it's a one way south) follow it up and around stay in the middle so it will take you by the hospital and it turns into Grand. Follow that around the curves and up the hill.. About 17th or 19th may be the main entrance to the park... Good luck (take a right into the park) the address is 1702 S. Grand
Yes it is! And absolutely lovely right now
the park has 2 main areas upper and lower. there are 3 playground 1 at uppwe with swings and 2 at lower. there is also a duck pond across from the playgrounds at lower manito
This is something you'll need to research elsewhere i think. These kinds of things are not hosted by the park
Jan is usually our coldest month of the year....i agree... depends on when you want to go to the park....
I believe they cut cut way back and heavily mulched.
It does not, this is an open park! No fees or price of admission. Just be aware that it is an open park, there will be children, people walking dogs, etc.
