Such a GORGEOUS river with an awesome beach area and a nice trail for dog walking or taking a walk with the family !

I found this place a long time ago and love it, my kids love it as well especially when the planes fly by, their is also a little beach like area for the family but keep your eyes on your kids!

Amazing place. During weekend is super busy and parking spots are harder to find but during week days it's easier and not as busy. Water is nice, cool and very clean :) love coming here with my kids.

I always love to stop here for some sundown pics when I can. This is as late as I could stay on this visit. The area is clean and beautiful. It could use a bathroom structure or port a potty. I snorkeled the river in that area last year and then that thought really crossed my mind!

It is open to the public.. I'd be careful as the people that are there after dark aren't always the best kind. Be aware of your surroundings and be safe in your activities. No lights, very dark. If you choose to go at night be very careful, the river is a dangerous place if you aren't cautious, sometimes even if you are.
You do have to traverse a trail and/or steps but the distance is less than 100 ft.
Free
Yes, but be sure if your dog is aggressive with other people or animals to keep them on a leash ❤️(only saying that because there are people who do not do this sometimes)
The rope swing unfortunately broke, however there are some rocks on the left side that are safe to jump forward from
Don't eat any fish from the Spokane river lol there's signs all over about not eating them
Upriver drive has Planters Ferry it is a Beautiful ❤️ place for a Wedding
It's open year around. And possible snow.
Yes, is the Centennial Trail that can be used as a wheelchair ramp. The ground is covered in pine needles there are some hills but doable. Yes, dogs are very welcome.
