incredibly dumpy theater. poor quality small screens, chairs that are about 15 years outdated compared to any modern theater, bad paint, cold. This would all be fine with me, except the ownership here has clearly mandated that their (miserable downtrodden teenage) employees enforce ridiculous rules. We were told to put our feet down, in an empty theater and subjected to a bag check after we had clearly spent money on food and drinks. These poor quality seats are not worth sending in your employees to interrupt the movie. I've been to hundred of movie theaters, large chains, independents, etc. all around the country and have NEVER in my life been treated like my business was so unwanted. They charge modern prices here but the facilities and operations are anything but, and moreover this business is clearly owned and operated by a grouch who does not deserve to have a cinema. I'll be making an hours long drive to Portland or Vancover to see movies from now on. I love supporting my local businesses and genuinely hope this one is shuttered or sold to someone who actually cares, because it's truly shameful that this building is being wasted like this.

Andrew's Pizza in Hood River movie theater both have about the samequality but Hood River Cinema plays more mainstream movies in Andrew's Pizza plays more indeed type movies.
