Just had a guy pull out a "Road Closed" sign and barrier right in front of me so close I had to slam on my brakes to avoid him. It was very dangerous, especially since they had not begun working and there was not even another car in sight behind me! I almost took the guy out! After I slammed on my brakes I honked and the guy flipped me the bird! All while wearing his KD Services safety vest! Wow. It was on 99th street in Vancouver WA in the Orchards area.

This company is by far the best flagging outfit in the Pacific Northwest. They are diligently following the Federal Highway Administration regulations. Every time I've driven through their work site, it always looks professional.

If I can give zero I would, I worked for this company for a couple of weeks, training was ok, they give you stuff, but be ready to hand it all over if you quit... I was told I would be paid round trip mileage by dispatch and was not paid.. I wouldn’t of went further away if I was not going to be paid my mileage... every single question I had asked, and twice I asked questions before I agreed to going to work for this company, they lied about everything! Their crews out in the field, the workers, they tell you exactly how it is and it’s not anything their management or hr tells you!! Yes higher pay but they have NO PREVAILING WAGE JOBS!!! You have to work 40 hours to even get over time, the other job I worked it was anything over 8 hours!!! They don’t pay for a hotel or anything if your required to travel more then the 50 miles for several days... barely any hours barley 6 hours a day!! D&H is by far the lead Flagger business in and around PORTLAND!!!!
