Got a haircut from Gabby this week. It was my first visit and I’ll be coming back. I enjoyed the experience and the price was right. Here are best things I noticed during my visit: 1. Staff was attentive. Someone immediately came up to help as soon as I walked in to help. It was my first visit and I had no clue how things worked, so I’m glad someone was there to guide me! 2. Really felt like my barber listened to what I wanted and she helped me understand what look I was going for. I always went to a stylist in college who just did my hair, and so I didn’t really understand how to communicate what I wanted to a new person. 3. I can tell how community oriented it was when the regulars there were talking and the barbers all remembered little details of their lives. That’s what I had with my old stylist before I moved, so I loved seeing that!

This is not for anyone who is black to get their hair done. My son just got a haircut here and here I am at another place to get it fixed. I can do a better job than this. Do they only teach a certain hair texture when they teach them at school? I understand if that's the case but they should say that they don't know how to cut textured hair or something. I am going to include pictures on yelp..... horrible is understatement
