I came here for issues with a build-up of phlegm in my chest, yesterday afternoon. The person at the front desk hung up on whomever was calling them as I walked in, stating she "couldn't understand them". I was told to wait for a call back from a doctor after setting up my appointment, who never called. This morning I called again, and was told that because I never picked up my phone (this was a lie told to me) my chart was tossed and I needed to check in again. I checked in again, but after 4 hours of waiting (during this time I left a voicemail asking for a call back) I was told I never actually signed in. They asked me if it was for a previous issue that I had came in for several months before, and I am unsure of how that could have been marked down. Once again I waited nearly an hour after being told I was next in queue that I'd speak to a doctor. After speaking to a doctor, I was told I'd be called by a nurse explaining what the next steps were. After another hour of waiting, I called back and learned that they didn't actually set up my scrip, of which they thought was an ointment (because the previous day, 23 hours before, I mentioned that I DO take a topical ointment). I was initially shocked by how I and other patients were treated, but now I am genuinely angry at how many levels of incompetence happened here. I was told I could "simply buy" the medication I waited 24 total hours to get prescribed by a doctor, after the seventh time I called this location. The fact that I was repeatedly argued with over whether or not I received a call (attempting to put the blame on the patient despite me STARING at my phone the entire time) is abhorrent and shocking, alongside the sheer number of times I could tell that someone had taken my information down incorrectly. It is upsetting to think that people with worse issues than my own could receive this same level of treatment, and it scares me to think that this is where the healthcare system has devolved to.

Doesn’t even deserve 1 star! Worst place to go in town. EVERY symptom is “Covid” and when you’re there to see a drs for a cough that is NOT Covid, you get turned away with no help to fill out an app that doesn’t work, and you’re forced to sit in your car to receive a “phone call in possibly an hour”. If the app doesn’t work don't expect help because they won’t help you. They tell you to get out of the building bc you have a cough (the exact reason you’re there- to get antibiotics for your chest). Places such as this is exactly why the ER gets misused. If a drs won’t see you you have no choice but to go to the ER and spend 5x as much. What is worse is this also happened a year ago with our then 2.5 year old daughter but figured they’d have it together by now. Clearly they do not. We need a real walk in clinic in Redding.

If you have been a patient at either of our Clinics previously, then you may sign in over the phone. I wpuld say go to the ER at Mercy or Shasta!! It could be a handfulnof things...kidney infection, bladder infection, or even a miscarriage (could be what the smell is from). Get your self checked out!!! Good luck to you!!
