My experience with Dr. Coronado and his staff has been excellent! I had been referred to them by my doctor and I am so glad she did. I had a leaky vein in my right leg which had caused swelling and pain at different times over several years. I knew it wouldn't get any better and I was concerned about blood clots. Dr. Coronado did a sclerotherapy and vein ablation. The procedure and the quality of care and interest in my need being met was even better than what I had anticipated. The results were amazing....it's been a few months since I had this done, and my leg is doing great! No pain, the swelling is gone, and I am enjoying the results every day! Not only do they do excellent work, there is a high quality of care that comes through in what they do and who they are helping. Thankyou so much!

I had my vein ablation procedures done here 2 years ago. My initial first consultation was good. Dr. Coronado reassured me that he had 100% success rate and that he has never had any malpractice suits against him. Reassuring me that I was in good hands. But during my first appointment I didn't find it to be a pleasant experience at all. He was busy making small talk with his assistants while doing my procedure. He wasn't paying enough attention to me on the table. He had to use extra lidocaine on me because it doesn't work well for me. Well this first treatment hurt pretty bad. But I trusted him in doing his job. I had gone back to get my leg checked and they found no clots. Only thing was in time I realized that he hit a major nerve. I've been suffering with nerve damage ever since then and I will suffer from this the rest of my life. I regret ever having this procedure now.

Dr Coronado and his staff are great. They are polite to their clients and each other. Always saying please and thank you. Answering all questions thoroughly with a pleasant attitude. That's is why it's so shocking to deal with their receptionist. She is so rude. I've dealt with her numerous times on the phone and in person. It makes me not want to call their office and be treated to poorly. She made 3 different follow up appointments and didn't bother tell me. I found out while reading the post op instructions. They really need to address this situation.

Hi Elizabeth, We don’t require referrals to be seen, however, certain insurances do require authorization/referrals in order to see specialists. If your insurance allows you to self-refer to specialists then you can just call our office and make an appointment!

I heard Dr. Coronado speak at the CVC conference in Chicago. He mentioned that he holds a conference annually. Where can I find that information? Thank you, Lisa
