I will say I appreciate the help from this agency but I hate how long it takes for things to be mailed out its not the post office cuz I can send mail to portand n it'll be there within a couple days i live less then 6blocks away from dhhs yet im always getting mail that imbsupposed to return wit requested documents 3days past the time it was supposed to be back...or how hard it is at times to get assistance needed...if these services are available for all who need I think they should be more easily accessible...

There wait time over the phone is ridiculous. You wait up to 1 hour or more for them to respond to one simple question. I will never understand why they take so long just to answer one simple phone call, because when you go to the office it doesn't look like they are doing much. I would give them zero stars but it is not possible. No one freaken answered my phone call after 2 hours this system needs to change .

Have been trying to talk to someone for weeks now. When i finally got through to someone to figure out where my app that was submitted well over a month ago, they then transferred me to someone who NEVER ANSWERS THE PHONE! Straight to voicemail every time where it tells you not to leave multiple messages. She called me back once at a number I said I wasn't available at until 4 and guess what, it was well before 4 (I left another number I'd be available at up till 4) Message just said "you have questions on your application? please call back." I left a detailed message that she could have just answered my simple question in the vm. Which would have been great as when I try to call back I end up at the back of the line because I'm once again sent to a machine. I wouldn't be calling about benefits if I didn't need them.

Three hour wait time only to be finally connected with someone who hardly speaks clear english!!! It was extremely difficult to make out what he was saying and then insisted that I needed to call back in a few days .. after waiting three hours for my turn!? When I explained that made absolutely no sense he hung up on me! Very poor customer service to say the least.
