This apartment complex is overpriced. We paid a good amount to live here thinking it was worth it and then they increased the rent $600-$1200 depending on what monthly term we agreed upon. YES, 3k to live in these wannabe luxury apartments. I lived here for a year, from April 2021 and my lease is up next month. I do not think this apartment is worth it because they try to sell it as a “luxury” apartment complex, but it is not. When we first moved in, 3 bedroom 2 bath, our unit was insanely hot with no air circulation. I figured the vents were closed and contacted maintenance. The vents weren’t closed and it turns out they just have HORRIBLE air circulation in their units. He told us if we wanted to have our unit cool we would have to run the AC 24/7 (RIDICULOUS are they going to pay that electricity bill???) So in the summer you will have hot stuffy rooms, unless you pay extra money for a nice portable AC. The winters will be freezing cold unless, again, you buy portable heaters. So if you want the 3 bedroom just remember the two extra room (one of which was our 2 year old daughters) will be freezing cold or uncomfortably hot. Sounds pretty luxurious to me! On top of that, even if you wanted to run the AC or heater 24/7 as they recommended, the master bedroom will get insanely hot because that seems to be the only room that air flows to. The appliances that they have (washer, dryer, fridge, stove, microwave) are all standard, nothing luxurious about them. The washer is actually worse than other apartment complexes I have lived in. All of our handles broke off all the kitchen appliances, luckily they replaced them quickly. Another insanely luxurious thing that comes along with these apartments is having to buy the bedrooms ceiling fans and lights because they come with absolutely no light fixtures. Another “luxurious” selling point for them is their fake marble counter tops and fake hard wood floors. Please do not buy into the “modern” and “updated” features, all they did was paint the buildings and redo the gym to a new tacky look. So cons (we had to buy): -2 ceiling fans -2 light adapters for master and living room -2 space heaters for winters -2 AC units for summers All of this while still paying nearly 2K in rent Pros: -Maintenance is super friendly (they’re honestly amazing) -gym and pool are decent So the pros you can find at any other apartment complex. If you really want luxury try Andalucía off of Coors, that’s where we originally wanted to live, and should’ve went. And the cons are insanely terrible for the rent charge and the rent increase.

Having come from another similarly priced apartment on the west side I was astounded by the quality of Skystone. Kali managed the move in process and was friendly and professional throughout. The apartment itself is in excellent condition, and unlike my past renting experience it felt like I was given a clean slate rather than inheriting damage/dirtiness left by previous residents. Edit: Changed to two stars after living here for a couple years. There are now so many loud vehicles that drive through the complex in the early morning hours (before 5am), and the sound isolation in the apartments isn't very good, so if you're anything less than a heavy sleeper you're probably going to be woken up early and often.

Lived here for 1.5 years. Moved out in June 2021. The first year was great. Loved my apartment, loved the grounds, didn’t have to interact with the office much , because everything was going well. Then it switched from Green Leaf to Skystone. So many additional fees were added to my monthly bill. My building developed a mouse problem. They set some traps in my apartment and outside of the building. Nothing changed and they never came back to check in on me or the traps. I put more money and time into keeping my apartment mouse free and nothing worked. Definite infestation. Then when I moved out they claimed my entire deposit and said I owed almost $30. I was living with rodents for months. It was disgusting, but I owe them money?? No. Also, the entire time I was there, NEVER got to use the pool, partly due to covid. But I sure was paying for them to maintain it.

I lived for about 6 months at this complex, it's a pretty new complex and we enjoyed our time there. Recently before new year management changed from Green leaf to Skystone and I experienced the worst I could imagine before I left there. The manager is a dishonest person that is totally againt the residents. He knew the rules well. We had just signed a new 6-month lease with them that we found a new house to buy. Long story short, we told them we are looking for someone to sublease our apt to avoid $2600 fee and the manager pretended that he is going to help us find someone. A few times I stopped by and he said no one yet. After I found two people for sublease and went to his office, (although we still had more than a month), he told us someone already rented your apartment online, so you cannot sublease your apartment. (He could have told us not to announce your moving out earlier that a month "our right") After we left, we haven't received our deposite check back for a month and they never took the phone calls, never and never responded to our messages we left, untill I went personally to his office after a month and his secretary told me he said he will email you. A week after we received $335 of $450 deposite with no explanation. Again, I am calling them but no response as always :( I am so tired of this manager and his actions and his team. They do not take responsibility for their words and actions and do not support the residents when they need. Other than this the apartments are nice as long as you don't need the manager for any help.

Hello, I will be relocating to ABQ in a few months. I would like to bring my own washer and dryer since I recently purchased them, Is this an option at your complex? Thank you in advance.

Hi Connie, All our beautiful apartments come with washer/dryers. We do offer affordable storage units that you can store your set in. We try not to remove the appliance due to wear and tear, also a lack of storage on the maintenance end. Tina Gomez Community Manager
